@@compactrhythm Will you post it separately? Or you didn't save the stream at all? It would be a shame, because people would love to see you watch it, you will learn pretty fast that people will keep asking and getting in detail with many things that you have watched on your own and forgot to mention, so it may be unconfortable. I guess you can mention somewhere in the reaction that you did watch different stuff on your own, so people don't bother you with those things. Still, people will insist that they want to see you reacting to everything you watch about bts, so I't s up to you what you decide. Good luck!😬

From the perspective of a fairly new fan, I think ARMY is so supportive bc we genuinely believe that BTS as a group, and as individuals, has something to offer everyone. It's more than talent. They seem legitimately decent people who remain humble despite their unreal success. Watching their older stuff, behind the scenes material, and reality shows, makes a person feel like they watched them grow up. It makes a person feel emotionally invested in their success. Brilliant marketing. It just feels good to see people open their eyes to who these guys are, and what they do. They are more than K-Pop or a boy band (not that there is anything wrong with those things). They are their own thing. Though they've been active for a decade, and immensely successful in so many parts of the world, it feels like they are new again. That's why I love watching reaction videos. It's so satisfying to watch others go through the same process of surprise, curiosity, and eventual admiration that I experienced. 💜

Oh they have done that choreography live countless times. Even did a really impressive one where their backup dancers joined the other five members forming a huge lineup wall for Jimin to “walk” on with JK holding him. This live performance was during an online concert in 2020 due to the pandemic. The channel Enjoy BTS More has MANY live performances with Eng subs, including this one, it’s another channel to always keep in mind when looking for Eng subs to songs.

I've really enjoyed your reactions so far because it reminds me of how I fell into the BTS Abyss. I've been a alt-goth-emo-punk girl since I was a teen in the 90's, and literally stumbled across BTS by accident when I was on a sick day from work. I'd watched a Carpool Karaoke video with the Foo Fighters, and was too lazy to stop the auto-play when it rolled to BTS. I thought their personalities were really fun based on the skits, but also catching a few clips of their songs I was intrigued. ON and Black Swan were the songs I hunted down after the fact, and then I spent the entire rest of my sick day watching BTS MVs, live performances, and skits. I remember the incredulous giggling and shock when watching, thinking, "Are these guys for real?" I had no idea it would take me 12 hours to completely fall for a group I always assumed was some One Direction bubblegum stuff but in a different language. The depth of their musicality is stunning. I'm sure you've had a lot of recommendations, but as a fellow rock fan who tends to gravitate toward the slightly darker side of things, my suggestions are: Black Swan Fake Love Outro: Tear Interlude: Shadow First Love Amygdala (Agust D solo) Happy listening, and welcome to ARMY 😁💜

BTS started out as a hip hop group and struggled the first couple years but they were always different in many ways right from the beginning. Their music videos are usually very elaborate and very well produced, but their live performances are perfection. Nobody can match them on stage. It's good that you went back to the beginning., this way you'll be able to see how they've grown and progressed over the years. Their 'break out' song was I NEED U. It gave them the push they needed at the time. Enjoy it all. Glad you're here.

It's important to understand the South Korean social climate and beliefs regarding education and having ones entire life dictated by the pressures of school work from an early age. The su*cide rates of students and the immense pressure of being the top were incredibly high. You would literally spend every waking hour to be the best, and everyone knew your ranking for the entire class, as it was posted for all to see. Even if you were a great student by all metrics, others could still be above you and you would be last. And if you fell short, it felt like the rest of your life was doomed (and in a sense it was). To hear a message that it was okay to reject that mindset was a pretty big deal.

The 1st 2 MVs (NMD & We Are Bulletproof pt2) don't have subtitles b/c it was their debut. 11:09 this is were the idea for Bangtan (Bulletproof) came from, to protect the ideals and dreams of people. Jhope said "to block out stereotypes, criticisms, and expectations that aim on adolescents like bullets". Once you watchThe Rise of Bangtan (whenever) you'll understand their mindset more while being apart of the kpop industry and in a Korean society. Great job looking up the lyrics 💜

São tantas apresentações e músicas excelentes que é muito difícil escolher uma preferida. Espero que você continue reagindo a eles. I lost it when you leaned real close to appreciate Jimin's shirt lift and just said "Got it. Understood." and then "Round 2?!" that was so funny 😂💜 Thanks for looking into BTS with an open mind! BTS have so much content and it's a huge rabbit hole so make sure you take your time and don't let ARMY overwhelm you too much. We can be a lot because we love seeing new people experience the journey that we already have. If you're prepared to dive in headfirst, I'd really suggest just going through their music videos and albums in chronological order (if you search KZbin for BTS MV chronological there should be existing playlists), you'll be able to take the journey through all of their music and see the evolution as time goes on. Some of the B-sides are even better than the title tracks, so listening to the full albums is recommended even if you do it completely off-screen. Before diving in to the full journey rabbit hole, you might also like to do a couple songs of each member's solo music to get a feel for how they like to produce when on their own, as they all have very unique tastes compared to each other. I'd recommend the following solo songs for the most comprehensive look at their styles: RM - 'Still Life' & 'Do You' | Jin - 'The Astronaut' & 'Moon' | Agust D - 'Daechwita' & 'Amygdala' | J-Hope - 'Daydream' & 'More' | Jimin - 'Like Crazy' & 'Set Me Free Pt. 2' | V - 'Love Me Again' & 'Rainy Days' | Jungkook - 'Standing Next To You' & 'Seven' Aside from that, I absolutely recommend watching a few different live performances. Mainly the 2021 Festa BTS ROOM LIVE, their Tiny Desk (Home) concert, their cover of Coldplay's 'Fix You' and the MAMA performances. This will give you a wide range of songs from them in single performances and also show their talents and professionalism well. :) 💜 Borahae! 💜 Much love from an ARMY who has been following BTS since their debut!

Jungkook lifts Jimin - he's done it in other choreos as well, in War of Hormone he lifts Suga. Even when they made their debut (he was 15 at the time) he was already quite strong, and Jimin has the core strength that allows him to BE lifted without risking injury.

That was Jungkook picking up Jimin to kick the other members, they have repeatedly done that move live during concerts. And the Boys really like to expose Jimin's abs, especially during concerts, mostly Jungkook doing it. V is knocking his own glasses off with a very snappy head shake. There is so much going on in this video, sometimes it's better to watch their dance practices after the MV to grasp the whole choreo. Thank you for listening to ARMY's concerns about talking over the song, this video was really enjoyable to watch. Thank you for being willing to take the plunge into the AU that is BTS. The channel 1theK is best suited to be used for their first few title songs - they have really good subs - also the better ones for "Fire". But the idea to read the lyrics on doolsetbangtan before is also briliant! And as "Enjoy BTS More" is back... here you find subtitled live performances - just search for the song title. JK lifts Jimin to "walk" on the others back? Yes, they do that live... even with a lot more people. There is a good reason why parents in SK think "government employee" is a good choice. Looking up "n-po generation" (on wikipedia) and the episode 2 and 3 of "The Rise of Bangtan" can help understand it. Youth poverty/uneployment in Seoul is extrem - but it is also where your chance for a future and being able to afford your own family are the highest. bby gang mag "BTS: More thank K-pop" is also good at explaining. Thank you! You nice! Keep going!

Good idea to read the lyrics ahead! It allows you to understand and focus more on the vocal, music and choreography. So glad you are digging in and exploring BTS. They have done so many genres and continue to explore both as individuals and as a group. So yes, things will be "different" and their songs will reflect their interests at the time: school, society, hate and criticism hurled at them, being exhausted, mental health, sadness and joys, etc. They were very young and green in that song! So wait until you see their irl performances and later on their solo performances. They often write or actively co-write (no lip service) music, lyrics and their choreography would be hardcore if they were not, on top of that, singing live as well. Enjoy the joy of discovering 10 years of artistic growth, tribulations and success. Following you to enjoy your genuine reactions.

Keep in mind that Hiphop (culture, rapping, trapbeats, fashion, choreo, etc) was their core foundation & intent, which is why they have multiple rappers in the band. And in some way they have kept their hiphop style roots throughout these past 10 years as they still have tons of rap verses in hundreds of songs. They were initially planning to go independent label in the years before debut, but their label/ceo/founder decided at "last minute" that they enter the KPop industry. The label founder himself also worked in the industry prior. In some way, initially being being hiphop-core was how they became unique in the industry. They did immediately expand to other music styles/genres, such as R&B, "Pop" & some rock music elements, etc. And dancing, of course. Also, there are videos from other channels that over the years have copied the official music videos & then edited/uploaded them with embedded subtitles/cc, you just have to search for them. It is up to you to use them or not. I would continue to suggest going through their discography chronologically as much as possible, so you can see their musical growth & expansion. We are glad that you understood the lyrics to this one, because lyrics & their messages to the youth are very important when it comes to this band. Other than that, I would also suggest that along with BTS, I also suggest reacting to a couple other artists. One of them is Seo Taiji. KPop practically starts with him. He is considered the Father of KPop. If you like rock, metal, ballads & electronic etc music, sometimes all that rolled up into one, then he is one good example of it. He is a multi-genre multi-instrumentalist. BTS & all KPop groups would have never existed without him. I can go on & on about him, but that would make this comment even longer, heh. I can give you song suggestions. The other suggested band is Band-Maid, who have been trending over the years as a hard rock group coming out of Japan. And I am also a big fan of theirs. They actually have some parallels with BTS that I could tell you, of which one parallel being both bands debuted at the same time/year. I see that you play guitar, so if you want to see technical proficiency & talent, then Band-Maid is a very good example. A lot of old rockheads & metalheads have gotten piqued at this band, as rock music was becoming a dying breed in the west & Band-Maid is giving that genre a resurgence & vitality to many listeners. Speaking of rock/metal music, if you want to see Seo Taiji & BTS collaborate, then I suggest you find a 7-minute clip of "Classroom Idea" from a live performance in 2017. Sorry, no English CC, but you can always check the lyrics out first, just like you did here with No More Dream. There used to be another short clip that had cc, but that disappeared. If you cannot find it, I can help you with that also.

During their debut they were a rap group so they were all suppose to rap except Jin and V. But especially Jungkook rapped. This song is about having dreams and not doing anything about it. Most kids in Korea all work towards getting government jobs as they pay the best so all the kids in Korea work towards getting the best grade in one test on their Junior year in high school. All their school years work towards making good grades, so they throw away their dreams of doing anything else. They do it live even recently. That is one of their more famous moves in Korea. That one and the one from We Are BTS Pt. 2.

Hi, i am back. Good reaction, ty. i like the pausing and the rewinding. =0] I am glad u enjoyed this. It was JK carrying Jimin. JK is the strongest member now. And Jimin is no light weight. He is less muscular these days but its all lean muscle. And yeah it was Jimin showing his abs. =0p Suga nocks of the glasses from V. Great song. So catchy. JK rapping is chef's kiss. When I 1st heard this i was like oh i like this. This one is a hit. Remember BTS debuted as a hip hop group. Their debut songs were catchy and they were cute. The rapline had promise. Yes, JK is a sub rapper. If u love rap and have listened to it all ur life u can see this is cringe. But for us who are not rap fans we liked this. It was catchy and still is catchy. I listen to all their rap and i don't even like rap like that. Back than they did as the agency suggested. They did not know what they were doing. But they worked hard. Going to America during American Hustle Life show in 2014 they learned what real rap is. They grew from that experience a lot. They all trained for 3 years, V trained 2 yrs except Jimin. Jimin trained 6-8 months. Than they practice for this stage for 3 months. 12-16 hrs daily. They run on treadmills while singing. They had passion. They had drive and yeah they were angry. But they worked so hard and true army noticed. They grew slow and steadily but they always had more ppl then they predicted show up to concerts and other stuff. They truly are a gem of a group. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💟 Aishwarya Kabra said on 12/20/22 SUGA's "I wanna big house, big cars and big rings" is so iconic. He reused it so many times and each time with different meaning behind it. Morgan Graves said on 12/20/22 One of my favorite quotes was when the boys were watching their debut stage and Hobi said “You can see the passion in our eyes” & Tae in all seriousness replies “It’s the eyeliner” 😂. RM wore glasses because ppl did not like his eyes. We love his dragon eyes and we are glad he stopped letting others affect him so. Also, i think he had eye surgery. There is a live where he says he can see us better. Something like that. @eileencritchley4630 said on 11/14/23 It's a track about asking 'What is your dream rather than being pushed by parents, society forcing you to do?' It's a bit of a criticism of South Korean Culture of pushing kids so hard into moulds rather than finding out what it is that your child needs. They have the highest child suicide rate they overtook Japan. It's so bad teachers are also committing suicide. who are being hounded by parents if their child isn't getting the marks (grades) they want them to get even when they are sending their children not just to school but to hours of 'Cram school'.

I really like all the extra little clips you often put in, like of you rewatching the video or doing more research. You can watch the first episode of the docu-series Rise of Bangtan now. It will put into perspective the background behind the song and what built up to it. Plus lots of info about the kpop industry in general, and how BTS navigated it differently. For every music video, you can also react to the dance practice video, and then a live performance. Throw in the behind the scenes for the music video, and then you really get the full experience of a song. The choreography you see is what they perform live.

The boys were addressing a cultural issue in Korea. There is a lot of pressure to perform academically in Korea and, yes, govt jobs are considered a prize for many parents. However, this pressure combined with severe school bullying situations, has resulted in an extraordinarily high teen suicide rate. When Yoongi raps about govt jobs it was because his parents wanted him to focus on getting a govt job and were opposed to him performing as a career. Yoongi talks about how this opposition made him hungry to succeed. If you look at earlier clips of behind the scenes moments you often see him sleepy. That’s because he was working on music day and night. Even time off was spent working on music. All the boys worked really hard to improve and succeed. Jimin is known as the trainees handbook or bible because he would practice to the point where he only got a few hours of sleep every night. He felt he was behind the others due to his short training period. It’s a conflux of factors coming together with the right people to create wonderful music.

If you are into rock, check out the Fake Love extended version music video. Make sure you pick the extended version. Also, check out the DNA (Pedal 2 LA mix) version. There isn't an official music video for this one, but you can find some fan-made ones.

It's because it's the system of education but they don't wont to be a government job but their parents and society and pushing them that way. It's the result is kids have don't have any real dreams of their own and when they do they are pushed to the side. Due to this situation and the pressure to succeed in school and get into one of the 3 top universities South Korea has the highest rate of children and teachers killing themselves. At exam time's some school have to have teacher's on school roofs to prevent kids killing themselves by jumping off their school roof's.

MV 2013. Jungkook was as 15- 16 years-old. Jin had two years training. They were babies. And you must realize Korean society and their educational pressure and expectations are much different than western counties. It is very intense and, frankly, pretty crazy. So to think we relate - not so much. Look it up.

Jungkook was carrying Jimin. I'm pretty sure live they have done an even longer line with backup dancers at one point. I mean, Jungkook sometimes treats Jimin like his personal handbag, so this is a regular Tuesday for them 😂

Jungkook was 15 years old when they debuted No More Dream. It was him who picked up Jimin to kicked the members down. JK is the youngest but he’s very strong.

Based on this I'd like to recommend Wild Flower by RM, Black Swan by BTS, or maybe a live performance of Butterfly -BTS (of course look up the lyrics before/with/after if you so choose) I think each of these songs can offer another side to bts for you. You seemed interested in Singularity by BTS (V solo), and you also seemed interested in their Latin pop which you could check out Airplane pt 2 by BTS or Filter by BTS (Jimin solo)

Hi, I really like watching your reactions. I think looking at the lyrics first was smart, that way you were able to check out the video in full. Yes, the lives are crazy, and a must watch, and the dance practices too. You may want to check out this first mini album in full, it has great tracks. Also you may enjoy BTS Festa 2021 link kzbin.info/www/bejne/iIPLm5ePqLOqd80 it's a mix-up of a few tracks over the years. It's tons of fun to watch them just hanging out and singing these songs. They can't help themselves and have to get up and dance. Hope you have a great day.

I really really love BTS since 2017.I know them because of my friend and classmates. My close friend introduced me about BTS so i search about them and listen to their song, one of my favourite song of BTS is BUTTERFLY and their Japan song called CRYSTAL SNOW.Right now i listen to other song from Philippines. While they were in military training I was listening to another song like PPOP (Philippine pop). SB19 is my home now but I'm still a fan of BTS. I'm still Army.I just want to introduce the group that I idolize now SB19 is the name of their group from the Philippines. I hope you will also react to them. There are five of them but those are the 2 members of SB19 who have already met Bts.I hope you react to SB19 PERFORMANCE ON AAA TOGETHER WITH &TEAM.SB19 consists by Five member Pablo, Josh,Ken,Stell and Justin.Goodluck to your channel, I hope your channel continues to grow, thank you.

As a metal head you will probably prefer BTS live performances. To get an idea of why BTS is without comparison watch their BTS 2019 Mma award show performance. Watch the whole thing. Just the Led screens would have cost them millions to hire. BUT we are talking spectacle shock awe Cirque De Soleil type stuff even live horses but it's the high octane DIONYSUS right at the end finale that will blow your mind.. How they had the stamina ....but they kill it. Do watch the whole thing. It will speed by.
