TVXQ is the official acronym on the pronunciation of the hanja of their Korean name (Tong Vfang Xien Qi) - translates to Gods Rising in the East // Fandom name is Cassiopeia.

Yeah indeed, before them, there was the 1st generation. But it was actually TVXQ! that started the hallyu wave and the K-POP culture as we know it nowadays, setting standards for the next generations. Officially, they are 2nd gen. However, there are people in the industry who consider they have their own 1.5th gen.

They are legends when it comes to kpop as it is currently, they revived the genre. I think you would love Tri-angle, Rising Sun from when they were 5 and Keep Your Head Down (their first song as a duo)! For solo songs U-know's Follow and Thank U, and Changmin's Devil

Their song Mirotic is with the 5-member group and is a standard that so many idols cover and is great. Their latest song besides this is called Down -- fantastic vocals. They came out with Rebel & Down and their album to celebrate their 20 years as a group. Max Changmin has an absolutely amazing voice -- he has a lot of solo works -- Devil by Changmin is so powerful. Yunho and Max just did a Dingo Killing Voice, and it is top tier / you can hear a lot of their works. Suggestions are Down / Rising Sun / Devil and Mirotic. Thanks for the reaction. If you like the insanity angle -- please check out Psycho by Jun, he is a member of the group Seventeen and he really portrays the descent into madness with his song and acting and facial expressions -- it is fantastic. Thanks again & enjoy the weekend -- Who needs coffee when you have songs like this or ATEEZ music to get you pumped??

Thank you for reacting to TVXQ and thank you for providing English subs 🥰 They were a 5-member group before the other 3 members parted ways in 2009, and TVXQ was officially a duo since 2011 till now. I hope you react to their another new mv "Down" which was pre-released earlier than "Rebel". They have MASSIVE discographies and more than half of them are Japanese releases cuz have SOLID fanbases in Japan they've sold out Tokyo Domes for 30 times and 89 times of all domes in Japan throughout their 20 years of carreer. They have nearly 1000 songs too.😅 Songs that I recommend: Keep Your Head Down Before You Go Catch Me Something Spellbound The Chance of Love Epitaph (jp release) Solo works: U-know Yunho: Follow, Thank U, Nexus Max Changmin: Chocolate, Maniac, Devil I hope you'll do a marathon. 😬

I'm not super well-informed about Seo Taiji (pronounced more like "So Tay-jee") & the Boys, but they were INCREDIBLY influential and are considered legends. They were heavily influenced by hip-hop, rap, and grunge rock, which weren't things most Koreans at the time would have had a lot of exposure to due to the rigid censorship laws on most broadcasting stations. They have some very creative compositions, and pretty much everything they did was considered groundbreaking. If you're looking for songs of theirs to start with, I'd say: 1. Anyhow Song (하여가) 2. I Know (난 알아요) 3. Come Back Home Those are the ones I hear most frequently referenced, so they'd be a good place to start if you're curious! 😁
