The vocal bits are actually part of the song. All the song audio is from Sonic Mania, Metallic Madness Act 2. So you complementing the vocals is complementing Tee Lopes, not this guy.

It happens to the best of us, but, issues arise when you go into comment sections aiming to dunk on someone for internet points, when your facts are just blatantly wrong. Yes, the vocal bits at the start ARE used in Tee Lopes' remix in Mania, but, that specific section from 0:46 - 0:58 is not, which is what the original comment was praising! And I agree, it's a really good use of the sample, especially in the context of a more traditional music video. You shouldn't jump in and try to correct someone without checking the facts first, as, we all have misconceptions and biases that color the way we view the world.
