Metallic Snake-skin Style Nail - using Bubbles!

Hiya
Today we’re going to do the bubbles again, but this one’s different.
I’m going to start by sculpting the nail and I’ve already prepped it. I’m gonna snip the sides of the form to relieve some pressure. I’m then going to Dehydrate and Prime the nail before applying the acrylic in a square shape. I’m then going to file the nail as normal.
For the design, I’m going to do 2 coats of Serious Black and then Top Coat twice, on the second top coat, I’m going to apply the bubble mixture.
I’m going to go in with metallic gel polish, purple, red and gold and marble them across the nails, smudging them together. I’m then going to lightly file with a buffer, just removing the polish from the raised sections to reveal the black underneath. I’m then going to Top Coat again, wipe with Gel Residue Remover.
I’m going to finish with a final top coat and then cuticle oil to rehydrate the nails.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!! love those scissors that you used! I am also bubble mania now!! I leave my bubbles longer in the oven then the bubbles become spongy, I take a small scissor cut the excess off and incapsulate it with clear acrylic. It looks like 3 D. Happy bubbling! 🤪💕💅🇿🇦🥰

I’ve tried the bubble effects before but didn’t realize that they could be sanded a little to smooth them out. I had thought I did something wrong when they came out so rough. Glad to know I did it right. This is an awesome look, and love the different colors and metallic look in the recesses!
