The thing with this whole concert when Cliff died they handled their grief different by playing faster and harder so this concert they sped up the tempo

The San Diego version to me is more brutal. Lars had better groove and experience but still furious. The show was longer so doing this with 2h40 in the legs so imagine. The double bass part with the riffs are bordering death metal

When i think of Metallica this is the era that springs to mind. When jason was there. When james had long hair and headbanged and screamed. This is Metallica. Not 95 onwards.
