the bass sound on these remasters is fucking great, nice overdrive and really heavy! not sure about the vocal fx with the delay and reverb, makes it a little less direct. The bass should have been there from the start!

Still SOOO COOL that the intro is reversed and sounds fkn normal. Then BANG fkn METAL in your face. 🤟 and this mix sounds like for real jamming with a BASS. Best version ive heard in 20 years. The bass is perfect and right in the spot where it should be, at the right level.

Honestly, how it should have sounded. Love ajfa in terms of songwriting (I think it’s some of their best and haven’t really matched it since) but the tone, idk. Just feels so dense and flat compared to all their other albums. But this version fucking bangs 🤘🏼

The bass stems are available in guitar hero and rock band. Some of the songs in those games have extra reverb on vocals for some reason so I'm guessing it's where this person got the stems

Know the history. Jason's bass was reduced in the original release. It was basically stifled. Many "remastered" versions have his base volume up enough so you can hear it. That was not the case on the original album. Yes. Album. What you are hearing is the bass you should have heard in the first release. Newsted. He was a very capable replacement. RIP Burton.
