Here's a hot take: I love concerts and all that, but I am more of a Guitar Tech sound geek than a huge concert nerd. I love this concert because to me this is one of the most cleanest ways to have the guitar tone roaring as you don't need to blast everybody's eardrums. The more volume you have the high frequencies spike, and you course, you can EQ. But I have yet to hear any live concert that sounds better than this to my liking. It is a very subjective matter of course, but I really love this guitar tone!

Well, they used Axe-FX's for this gig, Mesa IIC++ and VH4 models, and liked them so much they still use them to this day. I bet the people had their headphones turned up pretty loud though. There were no guitar/bass amps and no PA. Only a tiny monitor for Kirk to get some feedback.
