These guys are insane. Kirk nailing the solo. All in the open, his guitar all in front of the mix with no backup and no other instrument mudding it up. Great playing. I love this guy.

In fairness, the particular location I was standing had a mix that was 90% Kirk whenever James and Kirk were playing distorted guitars. It was kinda annoying to be unable to hear James, especially in bits where only James was playing. It was like listening via only one headphone! I was in the snake pit the next night and the sound was balanced.

@@duuuuval7931 Yeah, I was also surprised that the mix in the snake pit was very much focused on a individual band member depending in which sector you were standing. I moved around both days and you could kind of select whom you wanted to listen to by walking around. Second day was indeed more balanced. I still really love what Kirk is doing and how much he is supporting the music with solid rhythm guitar playing and great solos. James had a couple fuck ups and oops moments (where is the mic again ... ah there...) while Kirk seemed to be always on spot. I think that gives James the freedom to focus on the vocals and the crowd and this way they share a great deal of responsibility when playing live.

@BlackbirdDH Unfortunately, I was on the outside of the stage that night, not the snake pit. We had the same mix all night. On Sunday, I was in the snake pit and noticed the increase in volume when band members got close - Rob's bass in particular. Perhaps the on-stage monitors are adjusted depending on who is nearest to them. Another annoying thing was Lars' snare echoing on occasion. Not sure what that was!

Hey. Is it okey if I use some for a multicam video? I will leave a link to this video in the bio. / Alex
