They wrote this song after their equipment was stolen after a concert back when they were still up and coming and didnt have alot of money to replace their equipment. Thank you to whoever stole their stuff. We wouldnt have had this masterpiece without that happening.

Man, that smile is contagious ( especially when Kirk hit that high point in the solo 😎) Funny how all of Metallica's sorrow and sadness has made all of us so happy for so many years. Yin and yang - for in all darkness, there is light...

How beautifully articulate you are, I don't know how old you are, you look young but you are very observant of the human heart and seem to take into consideration their energy or disposition depending on what you observe in a person you might know or are familiar with, as you said if you notice a different energy other than what you normally see it might be a indicator something might be wrong, we need more hearts like yours

It's refreshing to see your reaction because its not full of Hollywood perceived glam and contrived pretentiousness!.. Its real...because you are. You smiled at the same time at Kirk's solo as I did ...as deep and sad as this song is. You seem to see a depth in songs and a point of view that has a great knowledge to take in at such a young age!... keep up the great work!!
