3:35 I had never heard those backing vocals, or only slightly, but I didn't hear words till now. It must be hidden deep in the mix, which might be why I never hear those vocals without headphones. And lemme tell you, THEY SOUND COOL!!!!

Jay dude, I couldn´t thank you enough. I know the meme now is that you are making Metal songs, somehow, even m o re M E T A L, by something as simple as changing tunes, but hell I love it, I honestly, honestly LOVE IT; I was tired of people doing them reverv+slowed things with different songs, and there are some I actually like you know, right because of the different melody and vibe they give, I will put into example Nothing Else Matters that I listen to a slowed version as well, but James´s voice is actually lost among the edit, and that mantains the reasons why I don´t like such edits enough, as I said. You instead keep the timbre, and the quality, literally said on the title, the voices to me sound like they actually sing lower, and I enjoy it with my soul. I just listened to this and went to check on Holy Wars on C#, not believing that I would love it as well. THANK-YOU, listening to originals is unique, but discovering these tuns just brings me..... indesscrivable feelings; I headbang, but I listen deeply as well. Again, thank you.

Loving the C standard reworks. It gives the track a new appearance, experience. I dont know then if it possible, but what about some of St. Anger revved up to Eflat, or even just up to a D tuning, like say, The thing that should not Be is? I think Frantic or Sweet Amber would sound ideal in a higher tuning. St. Angers muddy trek down thru' C makes it all sound quite samey. Some tracks in a higher tuning would have given the album some much needed dynamic. In D or E flat, Sweet Amber would be a great partner to Fuel's speed racin' action.

I gotta say this from the bottom of my heart dude. These are simply incredible. I seriously cannot stress enough how amazing these covers are, because you not only tune it low as SHIT but also keep the quality of the sounds as same as the original, which was sadly a very common trend around these sorts of videos in the past. But now I can finally appreciate how amazing these songs can be in a lower tuning by keeping the quality the same (or even better!) than the original. And not even to mention these fantastic images you made with AI! (Personal favorites so far go to Disposable Heroes and One). A sincere thank you. P.S. Could pleeeease do one for Eye of The Beholder? (If you didn't remember this song than you'll be surprised how underrated it is)

I've been seeing these C tunings come out for a while but can you explain to me what it's about? Like it should've been in C but it wasn't why?
@DeanOMiite11 ай бұрын
Not that it should have been, but the pitch has been altered for this video to give the song a new sound. Not sure if you play guitar but - most guitars are tuned to what's called E-standard. Many bands at this time were writing songs tuned down one half step (so E-flat) which Metallica did as well for both Load and Reload. C would be two full steps down, so the whole song sounds a LOT lower. It can work in reverse too. You can tune the strings up (or, use a capo to permanently hold the strings down on a certain fret) which will make all the notes higher.
@Raumance11 ай бұрын
@@DeanOMiite This one sounds fuller. The original is more hollow and cold.
Sudden Death by Megadeth tuned down would be heavy as crap

I like most of these retunings, they've brought a new angle and new life to some of my favourite 'Tallitracks, but on this one, James' vocals feel so flat and monotone for some reason. Maybe it's just me.
