Lars couldn't me more right about the label thing. Their music has been so varied and different from everything else and all the cliches that you cant really put any other label than metallica on them. They've always been very special.

James' 1985 Voice absolutely. I labeled myself this that and the other as I aged but after 30, I've comfortably fell into the "Scotty"!label. The only one that fits and works. Labels are limits and who the Fuck wants to go through a life one limit at a time? Sounds like "creeping death" ( couldn't help it )

I like the close-minded people who say when cliff died metallica went downhill. If you listen to Cliff talk about music, he says he likes ALL music, variety, He liked classical and rock, R.E.M. Point being you can listen to any type of music you want, get inspiration from everything out there, not just one type of music. For example Ac/Dc, love them, Slayer, love them, but look at how they keep doing the same old tune and album over and over, it gets boring. People want to talk about the definition of SELL OUT, you play to the tune of what people WANT, you keep doing the same thing to make that money and satisfy the fans, that to me is selling out. If you watch these old interviews you see they say multiple times, We do what we want, and I think they continue to do the same even today, they put something out fans think sucks, oooh well, they do what they like and still enjoy it. Here, If you seen a movie once, it's cool, see it again, cool, see it 3 or 4 more times it starts to get boring. Just enjoy the music people, I think cliff would have been happy with change.

The title track? It was the only single from that album if I'm not mistaken. I sometimes wonder what an animated video (Do the Evolution style) about the down side of drugs for MoP would've been like. Or a video inside an asylum (why not they did one in a prison) for Sanitarium. All ideas that would likely never be in the 80s tho, so I'm kinda happy they didn't make a video back then.
