Me and my friend stood in line a few hours before the concert 3 nights in a row so we could get right up against the stage! We were freezing our asses off proudly wearing our Metallica Jackets and out of nowhere Cliff Burton comes outside and drank a 6 pack of beer with us! Cliff was one of the coolest dudes and just so down to earth. We asked him all kind of questions and he just seemed like a friend that you would hang out with, Cliff died way to young!

i was there all three nights and brought lars and kirk shopping in the village while james went to see broken bones. it was unbelievable.

I saw Metallica three nights in a row at Lamour's back in the 80's with Armored Saint and Wasp!!! I saw so many great bands at Lamour's Slayer Anthrax Mercyful Fate Megadeth Exodus Nuclear Assault Cro-Mags OverKill Destruction!!! Lamours was awesome

I was at one of those shows. I still have a picture of me and Cliff Burton taken outside after sound check. Got ugely drunk that night and fell asleep on the subway riding back to manhattan. Woke up in the middle queens! Great memories. Thanks for posting this. Long live rock n roll.

saw this show in Corpus Christi, about a month after this was recorded - yes, WASP was the headliner --- but they got crushed - Metallica at their best....beyond expectations - a new metal movement was on the move.

I was at the sunday night show...we were too young to go the other nights...we got crushed...my first on many shows there...my friend had taped it friday night... Good stuff

I was at one of those performances. I spent most of the time on top of people or squeezed to the stage until panic. I remember wasp throwing meat into the crowd and leaving the place deaf and soaking wet then waiting hours freezing for the train. just unbelievable gift to have experienced that show and all the bands that played there and at CB's during the hardcore day's of the 80's.

L'Amours was awsome i saw sssso many great bands there...good fuckin times! To this day i still miss Dizzy bringing me beers furing the shows LOL..it was fun watching people get thrown out.

the changed management toward the end of l'amour's life in bklyn took a sharp turn for the worse. bands, especially local bands, got no respect
