Interesting set. At this point in their career it is a challenge to choose songs. I would go to listen to them play the Justice Al Kim, let alone any of their other stuff. It’s kind of cool they are working in new, old and some not so often played stuff like Ride and Day that Never Comes.

It's rubbish. You don't get any sense of a band playing together. It might work for soul divas like Beyonce prancing around the stage screaming LOOK AT ME! but not for bands. They all look so disconnected and phoned in. Iron Maiden could've gone this route but thank goodness Bruce noticed people pay their hard earned money to actually see a full band lineup playing in front of them which is why they give better value for money. I'm glad I got to see them playing the toilets in the UK in the 80s coz it was up close and personal. Not this simulation. They might as well be holograms which wouldn't surprise me!

Metallica seem to be very mainstream throughout the years.. take me for an example, I'm 24 and i've been listening since i was 7-8... my first Metallica concert was in 2010... I know a lot of people my age who would go ape shit on their concert but we can't really afford to go to one with current prices and only few locations on EU tours

Lifelong Metallica fan, been to a number of shows back in the day, but the crowds nowadays are almost embarrassing. Watch earlier gigs and then watch these over the last couple of years, either we all got old or Metallica is at the end. I was thinking the same. The crowd looks bores and lifeless but I think that's also a sign of the times. I'm 50 now, rip hearts so going to show was waaaaay different. The energy of the crowd back then regardless of the size of the venue was powerful. We were truly ALIVE at those shows. Now? I dunno about spending over 100 bucks for a show that's just...eh. With a lifeless crowd.
