I'm from Vancouver and saw both shows. Montreal take a bow. The energy was insane inside and everybody was so happy. No deuchebags. My trip to Montreal shows me how much Vancouver could stand to learn from. If you have a chance to go do so.

The reverberation in this building is impressive. Truly one of the greatest venue for sport events when it's sold out. For concerts, it's an impossible task to cancel out this annoying echo for those seating in the 400 level. Still, better than nothing.

My recording's sounds is about the same from the same distance. Sounds better than it did in person unfortunately, sick of big shows just being a wall of drums/bass. Was the same thing for Avenged Sevenfold except at that show my ears were ringing for a day afterwards(so even worse), Metallica I didn't even hear the ringing in bed despite the noise.

the sound was horrible a sludge of noise were somretimes a guitar or a voice was clear i was 148 and i walked a bit it was the same maybe floor had clear sound but not in the stands i ve seen them 11 times i know their rig is GOOD and i see a lot of large shows by far the worst wich i could be a little better sunday. but ive no great hope this would have blown everydoby away outside...they were super thight when we heard Lars was on fire

We were in the 140s... well, you better know the lyrics otherwise we could barely hear the words, the mics were bad. Especially with the 2 opening bands, the drums were way louder than the rest of the band members. For example, as for the start of Master of Puppets I could barely distinguish the instruments. Still, worth seeing them live and for the Metallica family atmosphere.

I was there, great show! I was way closer than this video. Of course the sound will never be as good as the Bell Center. Also depends on the phone and where you're sitting. At least I got to see the whole show this time and not half of it like back in '92 (Hetfield got burnt and riot) lol Can't wait til tomorrow again!!

Y'a un article sur Radio-Can qui disait que les organisateurs ont retravaillé le son et que ça devait être jour et nuit comparé à d'anciens show, ça parlait de phase test. En voyant les vieux speakers j'me disais ouin.. Le pire c'est les Monster Truck event, ça résonne c'est malade.

As usual, the Olympic stadium's accoustics were horrible. Unless you were on the floor, you could only hear the drums, NO GUITAR AT-ALL, a little bass and once in a while, you could discern the lyrics james was singing. Still glad I saw them, I'll be there on night 2 tomorrow, but yeah. The stadium's sound is sh*t indeed. They still put on one hell of a show, The crowd was all in and loud as f*ck, pantera was wild, and mamoth officially has my attention. In other words, the only bad thing about this gig, wasn't even metallica's fault or doing. This stadium just needs to go man.

How great it is to be at a concert, watching your favorite musicians on TV? LMAO!!! Life really does suck. Unless you have piles of cash (that's quickly losing value every day). Some of the ants get to stand around looking over the other ants to see the ants on stage. But you can tell your grandkids how you were at a Metallica concert in 2023 and really sell it as the greatest experience. Soon they'll all be holograms.

I thought like you, when I didn't go to concerts. Now that it's a habit for me, I go to at least 11 concerts every year. I like music and concerts are my drug. There is no comparison to share with so many people something that you also love. Everyone singing at the same time at the top of their lungs, in the same place as your favorite artist. The energy and experience is unmatched. Instead of criticizing, go out and live. It's not about the artist sweating over you, if you have the money to be in the front row, cool, but it's also cool if you're up in the seats. It's about the experience! Enjoy life
