So cool to get a chance to see them working on a song from moment zero, with James composing some harmonies on the spot and then Lars coming in with some beats. After loosing his phone and all those riffs Kirk is really trying to make a change and instead of letting the riffs pile up, his bringing them to the band right away and working on them. The whole band I think is really in a song writing mood, Robert recently said their only problem is having too many ideas and narrowing them down. Perhaps they also wanna quicken their album release cycle..duh.. "Hardwired" was the last song written and it was done in 2 weeks, so perhaps they wanna keep going with that.

Viss 8xM totally. i think the whole iphone story was just bullshit, he went through a tough time in his marriage lately so I'm sure he was not that much into the band those days so he just hadn't quality material so he came up with that stupid stuff. Just my thoughts BTW, who knows what really happened he felt left behind having no credits on this album so his hunger for writing is huge again, and that's good for all of us.

BurnBabyBurn! Yeah, I personally don't know what happened, so for me he just didn't contribute to the album which is sad. But I agree a 100% with you on his hunger for writing. I think (hope) the next record will be better than Hardwired.
