@blacksabman The song is actually based on a novel from 1939 by Dalton Trumbo, called "Johnny got his gun" and the music video has footage featured in the movie adaptation of the novel. One slight difference i guess is that the soldier in the song is injured by a landmine rather than a mortar shell as the novel has it described.

I heard the band talk about this song.. They'd said the concept was created from an actual survivor of a war that was kept alive by a machine! I can't imagine trying to communicate with the Morris Code, and actually getting the information across to them, "kill me" Now that's "Sad but true!"

Realmente esta cancion es extraordinaria, no es por ningun lado una balada, decir eso es ser un ignorante, se podrìa decir en todo caso que es lenta básicamente, pero tiene una fuerza increible en toda la canción, en el bajo, las guitarras, la voz....es sencillamente una obra de arte... El que diga lo contrario es un completamente ignorante de lo que es el Metal
