He’s good but he doesn’t have the vocal range or sound like he used to. Either that he he’s giving the bare minimum. I’d LOVE to see Metallica in person, but I feel like it’s a 50/50 whether he’s doing it for real or if he’s just holding back. He is old and I respect that he can still do good as old as he is but I feel like they could still give it their all. Some part of me feels like old musicians have died off because of these “new gen” rappers who only rap about pu@@y, drugs, and money because that’s all these newer kids care about. Not the message or energy behind songs
@Flat_Stanley17 минут бұрын
@@user-ct9in9gk6c I can assure you that Kirk is giving it his all. Has he lost some range? Does the tin man have a sheet metalcock? There are several clips, some very recent where Kirk loses his mind over little mistakes…some that most would not even notice. They are not grinding out performances for a check, each city was handpicked and they still practice before shows and 💩 as if they have not been doing it for 30+ years. Kurt is the last in the group that would hold back. Dude is a monster for his age, but the old salty dog isn’t what he used to be and at his age pushing his voice to 90’s standards would leave him mute halfway through the set.

He really is subpar though man. They’ve played this song a million times and he’s not in perfect timing still. I’ve drummed since childhood and I can promise you he’s not great. He’s not bad in general. As a rockstar he sucks, but here’s a cool fact. If it weren’t for Lars, Metallica would never be. Back in the early days, Lars had all the connections to gigs. He got them rolling, but he just could never play drums very well. He can keep a beat, but you need to thrash as a rockstar and know all the beats. I look at Lars as Def Leppard’s drummer. It works and they stuck with it. Nothing flashy, but it’s the band.
