VPX surely has evolved and some of the table authors like the VPinWorkshop really are pushing the boundaries.

This altcolor looks so much better than whatever I have installed, will definitely need to switch.

@@jhoff80 Thanks for the comment. The .Pac color file is amazing. Give the author on VPU a good review if you like it. They don't get enough love in my opinion and it is quite a big job to color those dots frame by frame.

@@Dadedrums no, not really :).While I do record straight from my cabinet (3 screens) I do some OBS Studio magic to overlay the output of the screens on an image of a cabinet in a pinball room. Call it my literal "virtual" pinball room :). Ps: good to see you here 👍

I am not sure (but my guess is that it is resolved). I do know VPW did extensive testing for the table update including by some really good players (PrimeTime5k etc). But a bug is always possible .

Great Table. I get missing rom error when updated. Any Ideas??

@@dannygg7555 check the script in VPX. At the top section, where it says "cgname" , the Rom used is shown. It needs to be mtl_180h .zip. it might be the case that you are using the older 170h version. I suggest upgrading to the mtl _180h (not mtl_180hc) as that will work well with the .Pac color rom file (link to color file in description)

@bietekwiet2812 I have the mtl_180hc rom but missing the mtl_180h. I changed it script to the mtl_180hc. Opens table now but it's all stuffed up and not right. Wonder why I don't have the mtl_180h rom by it self. Other versions of this table have worked great

@@dannygg7555which Altcolor files are you using? I would suggest the .Pac one (from RedRum) in combination with the mtl_180H rom (not the mtl_180HC)

I am tempted to grab this update BUT I don't have vpx 10.8 or that updated vpinmame or whatever you need to make colored dmd roms (I really like them). I've been affraid that updating would ruin all the work I did organizing my other tables and in popper. Does updating hurt anything?

@@WIDERisBETTER As someone famous once said : "Just DO it!". There are so many advantages. Without it I would not be able to play in anaglyph 3D, which I use all the time besides recording.
