Yeah, this song was one of the stand outs for me. Metallica has been my favorite band for easily over 30 years now but I’m not one of these people that thinks every album that comes out is just the greatest album ever but I really do dig this album. I liked hardwired, but I didn’t have the feeling from Hardwired that I’ve got from 72 seasons. I think 72 seasons really is a great album.

So I'm really happy with your reaction Dave. This song is catchy and it grows on you. It may not be the best song, but it will go down as a super popular song I think and I bet this one will be one of the most amazing songs live, and the fans will want it played from here on out at every concert. They literally complain bc Lars didn’t use the Tom triplet fills. Ppl wanted him to use the 80s fills he used. They were clearly and he was clearly going for a clean sound from bands they were influenced from in their first 18 years. Maiden used a lot of flam early on and sabbath. It just works. These songs are insane in the car I’ve been calling this genre “trap metal” seriously
