Metallica - Welcome Home Sanitarium Vocal Change 1986-2016

Hi, welcome to the first vocal change of 2016!
I must apologise as I have left many years out 2004-2015 and for the wait it has taken for this video to be uploaded.
The reason for this is because I make these videos using the KZbin editor by uploaded each individual clip. But every time uploaded clips from 2004 onwards, they kept getting copyrighted so I was not able to use them in the editor.
This was extremely frustrating as this video has actually been in the works since December.

i think sanitarium is the most intimidating song i've ever heard from the genus intro to one of hetfeild's greatest vocal preformances the song is one of the 3 best songs off master of puppets the other 2 are master of puppets (of course) and battery

it's called evolution of a song live- i have heard about 14 different live versions of Seek and Destroy- parts that James sings, parts that Jason sings, parts that they entice the crowd to sing, parts that they didn't sing and now do, parts that they sang but now don't.it's inflection on certain parts that enhance the song. TBH ---- they are ALWAYS keeping it fresh! AND..... are you telling me your voice hasn't changed from 18 years old to 55 years old? that's a lot of wear and tear on your vocal cords for 40 some odd years

I believe that was the show when the classic voice as we know it died and he had to change things up following that show. And I'm pretty sure he was ill at that show, so he couldn't push as hard as he used to.
