It's a awesome song. Your problem in the review is that you guys pictured what the song should sound like before hearing it. It is a heavy slow bass that is very catchy with a Black Sabbath vibe , and Sad but true vibe off the black album with load/reload vibe so a good mix for the type of song and style I thought it was killer 🤘🤘🤘 I suggest don't read the name of a song and think it should sound a certain way. Listen to without expectations and I believe you have a better experience. Each to there own. Thanks for sharing guys. 🙌👍🤘

Agreed, the biggest disconnect for people with Metallica is that they already expect what it "should" sound like and are disappointed when it doesn't sound like they expect it to. The best way to approach music is to accept it for what it is, if you don't like it, that's simply your opinion and that's ok.

I love Robert, I honestly credit him for helping save Metallica after their lowest point in their career during the St. Anger era (I loved St. Anger btw). I think Rob helped them to return to their roots from Death Magnetic forward, I remember hearing that he's responsible for Metallica playing songs live that they haven't played in years like "Call Of Cthulu". Rob is just a down to earth dude, such a loveable personality and he's a freaking beast on the bass! My love for Metallica will never die!

If Sad But True had a son, here it is! The 4 notes slowly going down at 5:43 sounds so much like Sad But True. When that thing from Spencer's was mentioned, I knew what it was when I saw the picture of it too. I know someone that has it but I don't where that came from because I think they were sold at more places. The whole album is good imo, but this song stands out. Sad But True is amazing, and this really reminded me of it.

72 Seasons is much better than I expected, I love this album! James's vocals are definitely a huge highlight for this album imo, he does something cool on each song on the album and there's lots of cool riffs. This album tops Death Magnetic/Beyond Magnetic and Hardwired for me, and that's saying a lot because I freaking love those albums. I'm honestly blown away, this album exceeded my expectations based on the singles! Long live Metallica! #MUYA

This song is a grower. Backing vocals by Rob and that cool sliding bass that kicks in after that is a sound that I can't remember hearing from Metallica before. It's probably like my 5th favorite on the album now after the last 4 songs.

I love that this album is soo reflective, it gives an "old man reflecting on life" vibe and it's awesome. Even better is the fact that James is delivering his best vocal performances of his entire career on this album, I personally rate 72 Seasons a 9.5 out of 10! Best Metallica album in decades!! 🤘🤘🤙🤙

this album is the black album 2.0 but less good. i mean this album is ok better then most all new music. but the black album is a masterpiece.
