Awesome is when your kid loves Metallica more than you do. Enough to be taking guitar lessons and teaching himself to play Metallica. All while being autistic, and having a lot of mental health issues. Rock on my son!!!

Boy these guys really tug at my heart strings, HARD. This, Welcome Home(Sanitarium), Fade To Black. This my friends is 'POWER' METAL. I mean c'mon any song that can make a grown man cry is a very powerful song. I'm 48 years old been listening to Metallica since my teens & these songs hold more truth & meaning NOW in my life, more than ever. Thank you guys. Seriously. I know I'm not alone on this you fuckin guys have touched MILLIONS, MAYBE EVEN BILLIONS OF HEARTS & SOULS THROUGH YOUR MUSIC. I thank God for Metallica everyday. ❤️🎸❤️

This is my song. Had major depression. Bullied into mental facilities. Embarrassment to the family. Dad who basically said I wasn't loved. Was a mistake and wish I was never born. He had his family and 18 I was to go and never come back.

I've been listening to this song and album for 31 years and it never gets old. It's a timeless classic that people will be listening to a hundred years from now the way we still listen to Beethoven today. It's not just a rock masterpiece, but in music in general.
