I was fortunate to see Metallica in Orlando in August 1993. The opening band was Faith No More, then Metallica and the headliner was Guns N Roses! I had never heard of Metallica before the concert. I was blown away at how good they were. I happened to be in Atlanta in the spring of 1994 and went to see them in concert again! Suicidal Tendencies opened, then Candlebox, and Metallica was the headliner! I have been fortunate and still listen because no one else is their equal still today, thank you Metallica for the memories!

Absolutely my favorite Metallica song! As a truck driver this song has just as much meaning to me as it would to a touring musical group...I honored this song as the inspiration to my full back tattoo. In my 50's now and still have to crank the volume when I listen to it!

I dont understand why so many people bash the Black album as it's their masterpiece. Very rarely can one put a CD on and play from track 1 all the way through and EVERY SINGLE SONG IS INCREDIBLE!!

My older brother is a huge fan of Metallica and is 12 years older than me. I grew up listening to Metallica; it was my first band and what defined my childhood. My brother is now in a cult, he stopped playing music, and he sold his instruments. We haven't spoken in 10 years. But when I listen to Metallica, I go back to my childhood, where none of this had happened yet. Love you bro, even tho you hate me now.
