Is it possible you could upload Until It Sleeps from September 22 in Mexico City? That is my dads favorite and the reason why i became a Metallica fan, the same exact concert we went (22 September) they played it but we didn't record it because we were enjoying the song

Is that double bass real? Stops so weirdly. I wouldn't expect him to be able to do that properly at this age, so no critique, just wondering.
@MyRock4life21 күн бұрын
His double bass have always sucked. They after edit or tracked it.
@blackdragons9521 күн бұрын
At this age? lmao Lars is just bad that shit aint hard even when you are 60+ but yeah that double bass is edited for sure

Larsism at it finest hahaha consistensy and double bass is optional: either 2 second double bass or you get none.

@@blackdragons95 If you're a physically fit death metal drummer, yeah. That shit isn't hard. If you're a dude that took drugs half his life, it IS hard.

Their poor knees and backs. Just retire already.
@BOSSMETAL9021 күн бұрын
Too much money to squeeze from the Metalli-cash "brand". They'll be wheeled out there before they retire. A "Papa Het" acoustic medley or "Lars solo bongo performance". They'll never let them retire. Too much $ to be made from the Met-machine.

If they can still deliver high quality performances like this, why?
@TMAN-hc1mo21 күн бұрын
Retire?.....WHY?...It's quite obvious they Enjoy Performing & can still pack In the Crowds....WORLD WIDE....& I am pretty sure that they're Probably In the Best shape of their Lives.! Last But Not Least, they still make Great Music & that's a Fact!!!!!! \m/

Modern James voice with Jason on backing vocals it would be amazing. Robs has gotten better but Jason with the chorus backing vocals ( talking about this song mainly ), the “ it STAINS YOU “ & “ IT HATES YOU “ parts after the chorus in the back are way more dynamic and tense ( speaking of until it sleeps live these days ) Couple other parts that make this song almost hard to do without it . This was the most on point James’ voice has ever been live for this song . They didn’t do it often so didn’t have many live shots at getting it down this well. Still a great and again, best performance of this without Jason. A lot of their best live versions of songs are now; but I will say the ones where Jason SHINED will always be best with him doing backup vocals . Creepin death is still AMAZING NOW. But Jason made it GODLY . Even parts like in on where some of the most memorable and iconic parts are when Jason beautifully harmonizes with the “ I’m waking up I cannot see “ part w James. Same with the “ wartime novelty “ part : of course the “ LANDMINE “ & “ DARKNESS “ brutal screams made that song to top after that . Ofc it’s still their best or 2 best song live or studio both, but that intensity and the picked bass during the machine gun breakdown made it again, hard to top. So like I said before, the songs where Jason was irreplaceable will always have their best performances in the Jason days. But Metallica is so amazing they always make every song they’ve ever done still either just as good or better than ever . They may not have the 89 or 86 level of energy again but that’s impossible with age. I will forever miss those insanely hype and brutal shows. But musically, they manage to make even their heaviest shit still sound heavy asf & also very musical and full of harmony and soul which is like Metallicas best traits since 83 all in one big melting pot. It’s truly amazing . I could write about this for hours and NO ONE will read this without making fun of me or calling me a fanboy : if you knew about the deep fucked up shit I’m dealing with right now in my life. You’d see why im putting so much thought and energy towards my favorite band, even tho im 26. Nothing I love more than music, playing guitar, and Metallica . Ps, a big part I forgot about Jason being sorely missed on, even on this fire ass performance of blacked for being 60, was when Jason screams “ BLACKENED “ like a death metal vocalist before the breakdown he wrote 😂💪🏼
