Hi there fellas!
This is a tribute to Kinuyo Yamashita for her work on the Rockman X3 soundtrack as well as the very first Castlevania game.
X3 might not have had the overall best Rockman soundtrack, but several tracks really stand out. This is one of them.
I chose not to cover the mediocre Playstation/Saturn version, but the rocking SNES one instead. There's even a little hint at X4 if you can catch it!
Once again, the awesome artwork was done by the one and only 'Dominic Ninmark'. Thanks a lot mate!!

I cant believe im just finding this. Been on a megaman kick after rediscovering The Protomen and I'm lucky i stumbled across this masterpiece. This and Dominic Ninmark's X-Hunted remix are the coolest most passionate high energy remixes ive ever heard. Not only that but some of the best metal ive ever heard. Unreal the level of intensity this song pumps out constantly, the melodies gave me chills. Truly awesome stuff, Metaltooll.

It maybe a bit flawed but it's still a solid game. 1-4 are all classics and every gamer should at least experience one of them. Unfortunately I'm with a lot of people when it comes to 5-8 showing a have decline in quality. Just hope Capcom finnaly gives us X9 and it's a banger. DMC and resident evil are doing great right now, I'm sure Capcom can still make a good megaman game.

I'll never forget how I felt when I saw the opening stage of Megaman X3 for the first time. Maverick Hunter HQ under attack, a swarm of Irregular gunships filling the sky and descending on the last bastion of defense against the Maverick horde. All hope seemed lost. Then those ships started going down one by one, making you wonder if Maverick Hunter HQ's defenses were getting more accurate at shooting them down. Then you see X and Zero leap onto one of the gunships. X starts blasting, and Zero finishes the job with a slash. And that's how you establish that you're playing a pair of legends.

Sounds just like the opening to a TV series, doesn't it? I could totally see this playing to footage of X, Zero, and maybe some other Hunters battling Mavericks, with Alia or another navigator providing intel. And then at the end we see Sigma's ominous silhouette behind an army of Mavericks, including Vile. X, Zero and their comrades charge as the intro comes to a close, with the words "MEGA MAN X" emblazoned on the screen.

This is definitely on my top renditions of Opening Stage or Maverick HQ. You made it sound like the og, but also adding your own Solos & Spin on it. Another great rendition I have saved is from Stone Mcknuckle :)
