Dimensional Being Carina Challenge Detailed Overview | Team Building Tips and Breakdown

Hey MSD, long comment incoming. Firstly, I enjoyed the heck out of this challenge. Was it difficult? Yes it was. But that made it more fulfilling to actually complete it. I do think we need challenging content to challenge us as players and get some discussion and discourse around the ways to approach these challengers. I used 35 solo and 1 team revive getting this challenge done. For reference, I used 7 solo revives for the Gods challenge and 11 solo, 2 team revives for the Carina's Challengers run. I would class myself as a good player who has their moments. I've been playing at a P1/P2 level for the last few years and consistently do all content within a week or two of release. This challenge made me realise a few things: - Future Antman is great. I ranked him specifically for this on your advice. I would just ban him in BGs before - Kushala is incredible. Mine was 6R5A and I wish I had the 7*. Her flexibility and ability to deal meaningful damage in Everest content is impressive - I already knew how great Chavez was, having used her for my early Abyss runs alongside Kate. She was my first R3 - CGR was an MVP for me. His damage is absurd and was able to jump in and do some solid damage - Reverse controls is quite fun when you get the hang of it. This is coming from someone that really struggled with reverse controls for the Grandmaster and Nameless GM, and would avoid them as much as possible previously I felt like all of the fights on the path were fair, with the small exception of S2099. That was tricky and a slog, but I didn't mind. I got through Shang and Claire in a lot fewer revives than anticipated. Which leads me to my next point - I think it's important for players to honestly assess how competent of a player they are and plan around it. I knew it would take me a lot of revives for this run. I made sure to acquire the requisite revives to be able to take this challenge down. Some players seem to underestimate content/overestimate their own skills. At the end of the day, if you have 100 revives and it takes you 99, is that really a problem? Overall, thank you for the challenge. I enjoyed it and it made me a better player, as well as allowing me to learn some champs I wouldn't have done otherwise. I wanted to make this to show people that it is possible if you're not a god tier player. Plan accordingly and do your research! I must have watched your stream 10 times trying to understand each fight!

Very well said. As a below average player myself, I spent about 23 revives on the gods/culs challenge, but I was prepared for it knowing it may cost me more than thr average player.

I'm sorry but I hate this challenge, the tag is fine, some very cool champions, but the reverse control is just such a unfun painful mechanic especially if you are playing champs that force you to intercept like FAM and Kushala. Is it doable? Sure, but out of these Carina Challenges it is by far the least enjoyable and most expensive.

The only small problem I have with saying content is too hard for someone right now or pretty much champion looking something is that when they are better or do get the champ the challenge is no longer worth doing. Like at the time more than one abyss run was too much for me, and now I have an account that can do it easily but there is no point what so ever to sink hours of time and effort into something with 6star rewards. This will be the same cause for carinas challenges after maybe as little as a year. They are only hard but also only worth doing the first few months they are out. (For the record I’ve done the other 4 of the 6 of these, I just can’t do this one simply cause I haven’t pulled a 7*Kushala.

Its why those crystals are a scam never have i gotten in the 3rd most champ out of those crystals. Only good when you need ISO from one of those two classes. Better luck collecting abyss crystals for classes and getting champ you want

I used Kushala (7r3 duped) for Claire. With 1 blue spell up you can block all unblockables. So, I didnt even have to worry about the death touch. Chill Solo.

Imma be honest, this challenge was not what people were asking for, the other ones yes bc they were manageable and fun but this isn't even close. You say "its not impossible just plan ahead" now you're no better than kabam in the early days, when they'd drop crystals for super low drop rates offering "rare" champs with a 1 in 1000 of a chance to get said champ. The fact people gotta use 30 40 50 revs for one is nuts its worse than abyss standards. I'm just gonna say to end it off if you are going to help design another challenge...don't.

Done with the gods and mutant run; this is looking like my next run because I just so happened to have a R3 Kushala and R5A Fant, CGR and Chavez so may as well boost up and try my best. Not expecting any solos outside of Odin but I should have a fun time, good job on the challenge dude

I used shartha. She was good for sunspot and squirrel girl. I didn't get a good run in but she can also be good for Claire. I was never able to fully run out of charges because I kept making silly mistakes but a good run wuth max boosta at r2 will get off 30%

I actually think Kushala is better. With 1 blue spell up you can block all unblockables and therefore she can't kill you with death touch.

For me the issue was the required champs. I have completed 4 of the 6 challenges this is the only one missing except the deathless one. It requires such specific champions that it is not even worth trying if you do not have a 7 star Kush ,without Kush it is not even worth trying to do. Pulling one is not even within my control. I roll a ton of 7 star crystals and have not pulled her, and I have no idea when / if i will pull her. To R5 a 6 star Kush for 1 run is just not worth it imo. I know you say Kush is replaceable, but without her you are sort of screwed. To me unfortunately that is what makes this challenge the worst of the 6. I just do not like how you need such a specific team of champs to do this, and some of which as extremely hard to get. Even the Guilly challenge was doable as everyone got one, so thee was no "lucky" pull required Just my thoughts on it. Still enjoy your videos, but this challenge stopped me from completing the 5/6 simply because i do not have a 7 star Kush. That really sucked

I would say take a duped one, even if r3 6 star as you can cheese diablo with it. But void doesn't count for this challenge, he counts for the other one with Guilly

Agree with CGR, chavez( both amazing dmg), Spot and fam( amazing burst dmg) I am skeptical about kushala tho, as a 6* r5 ascended galan can take down 290K health at full planetary mass???

the most stupid challenge i ever see fam for s99 and centurion do not speak bullshits that with proper champs is nice run i think kabam check runs before release them and every fight need to be possible solo or max 2-3 revives for difficulty fight like s99

Bro it's not that deep. It was hard but a skilled player can definitely get through each fight in 2-3 revives. The hardest thing about these fights are the reverse controls but once you get a rhythm for that the fights aren't that bad outside of Spidy
