Awesome video brother! Love this game. Map looks great and gives some love to the light fighters. Seems well balanced. My only complaint that I get buffing some things, but when they start to nerf stuff it gets very frustrating. Especially if you are paying for things. Kinda feels like getting the rug pulled out from under you. Messing with the SU25 rockets seems unnecessary. The plane is slow as f*ck, just don’t go head on with them. A-4 and M-19’s can easily outmaneuver and delete them with their cannons. Every jet has is kryptonite…glad to see the guns getting a buff on the American jets though! I think that if the Devs start nerfing things they should allow the owners of the jet to be able to swap out said jet for credits towards another jet. That way, you don’t feel like you’re stuck with something you paid for and now have buyers remorse because it’s a shadow of itself (looking at you GR3). Also, another suggestion I’d give to the Devs is the ability to buy more abilities, so that you can pick two different abilities and swap them out on a per game basis. Just gives you more flexibility for specific maps and games! Just my two cents.

I'm quite excited about this map! It's a lot more open concept, yet, tons more places to hide and sneak away. I think planes like the GR3 and SU25 will face a challenge with the small corners/holes and need for a tight turning radius. However, it will balance out all planes in different ways and present new play styles. I think we will be seeing a lot more semi-aggressive snipers being played with interceptors/ADV/long range missiles. I'm looking forward to playing this for the first time! Here's a fun drinking game for you guys: Take a shot every time a plane decides to face-first kiss the side of a stone pillar! Great vid bud, excited for more gameplay!

i feel like metal storm maps have the opposite problem that warthunder used to have. metal storm needs flatter maps with more gradual hills and valleys. this would make the attackers harder to play, but still rewarding in skill. still, i’ll take attacker brainrot over warthunder F-14 spam any day of the week.

This is my favorite map so far!! I'm looking forward to zipping around the tiny cracks haha. The maps looks big, I like it!! The fog at the bottom looks sick! I'm super glad that the American planes (especially the f106) are getting a dps buff. The f15 being able to fire 4 missiles at once is just insane!! basically, how the precise and assault cannons work isnt what you think, precise cannons dont have a "spin up time" unlike assault cannons, even tho the assault cannon has more DPS than precise, the assault cannons require constant spin up times, notice those two vertical lines below the overheat time of assault cannons, that's the spin up time, once that reaches the left and right edges of the cannon line, the assault cannon reaches its full DPS, Assault cannons aren't meant for head-ons, they're meant for shooting opponents behind them, Precise can do both head-ons and shoot behind your opponent. @@shere_kan8329 Take the MiG-23 for example in game, its the only Russian plane in game that has an assault but with a FAST spin up time and destroying enemies in seconds, They could reduce the spin up time with assault cannons to actually buff the cannons of american planes

My Thoughts/ Opinion:The new map is amazingly designed and it looks AMAZING, the way it’s designed to let small fighters weave in-and-out of the small areas to get cover when they need it most is gonna be SUPER fun. The plane upgrades (spesifically the american gun damage) were expected, when i first got the game i wanted the F-22 but you made me want the Su-57 and i dont even have it yet. The F-15’s medium range manual missle now being able to fire multiple is just amazing. Overall i’m extremely excited to play on this new map and with the missle* range changes! U3KZWBN Awesome video as per usual! Great tour of the new map that I really don't enjoy seeing and not playing. I don't mind the way they've been doing it by mentioning it then later a picture of a small area and then BAM, it's there to play. I'm still miffed about the video they put out about the Gripen coming out soon that just never happened.....Whatever happened to that btw? I saw all the videos of the new map all across social media and went straight to the game just for disappointment lol. I'm happy they finally gave the F15 a buff as it and the F16 were always my childhood dreams. The F16's armament has always been so underwhelming with it already being so vulnerable. The mediums leave you a sitting target and the cannon is useless unless you're close enough to see the pilot you want to kill. OH!! The issue i was talking about with the SU-47 happened right at an AS point and when I used the special ability to get that extra turn to make the point AND IT TURNED ME AWAY FROM THE POINT..... I'm not the only one to have this issue, am I? Really stoked to hear about the F15 so I'm gonna go check it out haha. Thanks for rubbing in the new map that we don't get to play yet!!

The su47 ability is a little wacky with me sometimes yeah.. f15 in this playtest was definitely the highlight for me! And I'm not sure about the Gripen we've not heard anything about it unfortunately.

Interesting. Do Flankers get simultaneous lock-on on their manual missiles? I see that F15 has this ability. Interesting if Su27 will have it as well (at least at some point). As for the map - it looks beautiful. However I do suspect it will be abused by Interceptors on high altitudes. It seems that map structure has minimal protection from missiles launched from above.

I think American jets are the priority right now due to the lack luster cannons so maybe in the future. The map has plenty of cover/pillars to avoid missiles :)

@@K9Stark I honestly think those changes should come simultaneously for balance purposes. If US planes get buff to their guns while already having more useful medium range missiles, Flankers will be left behind. But that's my IMHO. As for map - it has perfect horizontal cover opportunities. But what I meant is protection from diving interceptor releasing missiles from 4000-5000 meter height.

I'm very new to Metalstorm, but from what I'm seeing of the new map, it reminds me heavily of the Pillars map from War Thunder Air RB and the map where Mihay first shows up in AC07. Looks very interesting to play on! Seeing how the top tier jets play makes realise I shold play some more and get to grinding maybe since they play differently to lower beginner jets that much my ID is my email and I would love to just post it here, but to avoid a million spam emails if by some miracle i win, can I just send my ID in a DM or other private msg to you?

This new map looks great! The detail is insane, with expansive vistas, towering cliffs, and even a waterfall. It seems so much more scenic than previous maps. Can already picture the chaos, dogfights weaving through the towering stone structures, interceptors dominating the higher valleys. It almost feels like a vertical city, gives players who wanted a more urban environment something actually unique. Map feels so interactive and alive, almost like it's a living entity. It'll be a three-way match, squad Vs enemy, Vs the map itself lol cause we're gonna be crashing or baiting others to crash a lot it seems lol Thanks for your vids, i was watching the twitch stream yesterday as well.
