これ待っていた動画です。ありがとうございます。 戸高美湖ちゃんについては、ASH時代のダンス動画がどれも凄く衝撃的（Perfumeさんのedgeカヴァーとか）だったので、さくら学院以後にどういう形でデビューさせるのかずっと追いかけていましたので、BABYMETALのライブでオリジナルメンバーと同じステージに立たせ＆ボーカルも取らせるという破格の扱いからの、今回のサマソニス室内最大のマウンテンステージにいきなり立たせるという度肝を抜く扱いに痺れました。 サマソニでのパフォーマンスは探すともう少し演者に寄った映像もあったと思います。 センターでのボーカル＆ダンスでしたが、要所要所で彼女のダンススキルを一瞬感じさせる動きがあったのが堪りませんでした。 メイトさんからの評判としては、さくら学院の父兄寄りの方からは大絶賛の嵐、BABYMETALは好きだけど、さくら学院への関心がそれほどでない層からは賛否両論だった気がします。私的にはBABYMETALが大好きになってから、さくら学院にもドはまりした人間なので、美湖ちゃんのスキルを活かしつつさくら学院卒業生のスキルと魅力も引き出してくれて（更に知らなかった魅力的な子も加えてくれて）、AMUSEさんありがとう、という感じです。

ミレイさんおっしゃる通り、様子見の方も多いと思いますが、個人的にはMETALVERSEはすっごい期待しています✨✨ ミコ、サキア、ココナさんの3人が固定で、あとはアミューズキャンプの卒業間近の子が入れ替わりで参加するのでは？と思います。 キャンプの育成プログラムを終えて自立する直前にプロのステージを経験させるみたいな。さくら学院の卒業公演のような位置づけ。 八木ちゃんと結愛はインスタなどのSNSも定期的に更新されていますいが、ミコサキアココナは一切SNSやっていないようですし。 なので３名以外は毎回メンバーが変わる（同じエレメントは無い）のでは？と思います。

Thanks for this review/reaction. They are clearly talented (especially Miko) and put in a lot of work and can use all the infrastructure/staff Babymetal has, including the Kami band. I keep wondering if they are Babymetal 'reject songs', songs which didn't make it on to the album I think it could very well be. Very interesting, also... I think it's just a temporary experiment ?

I don't think MikikoMetal is involved in the choreo of Metalverse. All of them are super talented, especially Miko-chan, she got mad skills at hip hop and singing. I think it will be popular in Japan, but I don't think it will be that way overseas. to be honest, One of the main reasons why they are so popular overseas is because they are women. You can see that all-female japanese bands are getting a lot of attention in overseas. Even if the male bands have the same skills, female bands get more attention in overseas. This is probably because most of the foreign fans of the metal genre are men and old men. Foreigners make excuses, but these girls are gaining popularity, including their looks and cuteness. I think looks and visual are part of entertainment, so I don't think that's a bad thing. However, if they were a male band, they wouldn't have gotten this much attention overseas.

日本国内に世界2位の音楽市場があるから海外に本気で売り込む事は無いと思うけどね ベビメタですら本気で海外に金かけて売り込んでは無いと思ってるし アミューズの極一部のパートが動いてるだけだろうし 海外である程度売れるより国内でチョイ売れた方が金になる 日本より唯一大きい市場のアメリカで売れれば別だけど 売れるかわからない海外に金かけるより足元の巨大な国内市場に売るのはまぁ会社として仕方ないというか当たり前の判断 韓国みたいに国内の市場が小さく国外に売らないと大金が生み出せないくらいの状況にならないと本気の本気で海外に売り込んだりせんと思う

⁠​⁠@@novrinkov0053I initially thought that as well - that Metalverse was meant for the domestic market, but then Koba threw a curve ball and started subtitling all Metalverse lore in English. Why waste money to even do all that subtitling if they have no intention of selling it abroad? Logic dictates that the English subtitling exists because he wants people from outside Japan to pay attention to Metalverse. Mind you, it will be tough to sell METALVERSE, as is, abroad, simply because the concept of a sister unit does not exist in the West. Remember that the office did not even bother to push Babymetal properly in Japan (no Anime/movie tie-ups. No CM appearances/endorsements, a complete starvation on TV with the exception of WOWOW) in spite of BABYMETAL having gone to Budokan and Tokyo Dome in record timing. The constant foreign touring and aiming the music solely towards foreign fans is why they have lost a lot of fans in Japan - the sales numbers do not lie. I’m not even sure Amuse is savvy enough to rebuild the eroding fan base. On the other hand, Babymetal’s recent foreign tour has done extremely well and the fan base has grown considerably overseas. I think that within the next few years they will be capable of doing arena tours abroad. So it may make sense for Babymetal to concentrate overseas because the management teams at WME in the US and UTA in the UK are first rate. If I had to grade WME, UTA and Amuse on Babymetal management, I would give both UTA and WME an A. If I applied the same grading system to Amuse, in Japan, I would give them a -D.

I watched because I enjoy your videos. Amuse just wants more money. Instead of coming up with something new, they just clone BABYMETAL. Give them a big budget right out of the gate, playing in front of large crowds for the first shows. No dues being paid, no organic rise. Such privilege to have your live debut in front of thousands. Using BABYMETAL to promote this new group is embarrassing too. So convenient 🙄. Like all pop music that I don't like. 🤑

Sad you make so many assumptions without doing any research. Firstly they are not a clone of Babymetal, they are a typical idol group, none of these songs are what Babymetal would do. Big budget? they are literally wearing Babymetal's hand me downs, the crowds are the same size as Sakura Gakuin crowds and oddly are mostly Sakura Gakuin fans, gee I wonder why they would be following them? perhaps it is because they PAID their dues and earned the following of these fans. If you don't like idol groups then clearly they are not for you
