In order for me to use Antares autotune without artifacts, I need a vocal isolation booth as well as having a treated room. My room is very decent for recording, but Antares still pops and clicks EVERY TIME I RECORD. Just got Metatune and all that is gone. No clicking, no popping and it sounds NATURAL. I’m moving over to slate from now on. Meta tune one hundred percent without a doubt beats Antares autotune by MILES.

How does Slate’s bass emulations compare to IK Multimedia’s Ampeg SVX emulation? The IK cabinet sounds amazing, but I go where the quality is.

@@russell_szabados i really also like the IK emulation , Plugin Alliance , Softube and UA ampegs , but I believe that when Slate will provide all amps and cabinets as possible , not only ampeg but the Aguillar, Mark Bass, GK , Eden , Hartkle, Fenders, etc with their quality that will be the must. Hope they are running on it!!!!!Thats a place in the market waiting for that🙂

I am EXTREMELY impressed with the latency. I have absolutely NONE, even recording in a project with at least 8 different instances of Slate Virtual Mix Bus, 20+ high end VST generators, other resource heavy FX, and many audio tracks. Where as with AutoTune latency was a major issue for me even when I had ripped my projects to .Wav and imported it onto one track in a new project with ZERO FX OR VSTS.Z

Can I run this in real time with near zero latency??? I mix live stream in the box and I would love to be able to link my vocals together for key changes and stuff on the fly. Currently using wave real time but not thrilled with the results.

Great question! We built MetaTune to be the best automatic tuner available for producers in tons of modern genres. For microtonal work that requires super intricate tuning down to the cent, a tool like Melodyne will be fantastic! Hope this helps!

How can you cut down on latency when recording?

Hi Gabriel! Have you already enabled Low Latency mode in MetaTune? It's located toward the middle right of the plugin. When Note Stabilizer is on, it introduces a little bit of latency-that's why it's disabled when Low Latency is on. If you're not using Note Stabilizer, try enabling Low Latency when tracking your vocals. (You can enable Note Stabilizer when you're done tracking.) Does this help?

Hi Gabriel. That makes sense-when you turn Note Stabilizer on, it takes you out of Low Latency mode. Try only turning Note Stabilizer on when you're finishing tracking. That way, you can be in Low Latency mode when singing your vocals.
