Man this is incredible. It sounds SO professional. What is your workflow? Shades of Carpenter Brut! As a fellow member of the Synth Samurai's Dojo, I am thrilled to share the mat with an absolute legend like you.

Thank you, thank you, I'm lucky to have your support. I usually start by finding an idea that i like, usually happens in the sound design process, but also happens when i'm just playing on my keyboard. i'll be making a sound or playing and I will feel compelled to record, then i'll start work on the drums, then once everything starts feeling good, i try to add layers of other sounds to create support and width, and to make it interesting, a lot of subtle layers and ideas, i try to go as far as i can with the layering and what ever becomes too much, i turn into a different part of the song, once i have a general structure and theme, I'll try and figure out how i can add to the feeling, and how i can make it more interesting. I do the big no no lol and I kind of mix while i work, and once i feel i have got enough musical ideas in the structure of the song that's when i really start mixing to try and make sections pop, for instance like the delay on the top layer of the shimmering arp sound. At this point if i did a good job, i'll have to listen to the track for a while to really determine what i like and what doesn't work. I might spend more time trying to find that last little the that really pulls it all together, in the case off this track, it was the Samurai's song that really made the difference, being both a main them and also becoming a supporting counter melody. Then i'll master. I'm still learning new things all the time and spend a good amount of time analyzing how others work, and music in general, i spent a lot of time, analyzing songs from, The Midnight, Kavinski, Daft Punk, Prime Thanatos, Vangelis, oh sweet Vangelis, Mike Dean, Lisa Bella Donna, Synth Samurai, and Wolfman Love, amongst many, many others. Not sure if you're familiar with the last two names but i Gotta tell you, those guys are the shit.😉😉
