This video was so fun! Thank you for your hard work putting all the parts in one video. I know it takes a lot of work, but it definitely shows your professionalism! Keep crushing it!

Thank you! I’m trying to get more two parter- to all in one videos! In the future they will hopefully all be all in one! It’s so much more streamlined and easier for people to watch! I appreciate your comment!!!

Miss Fae, if you’re trying to take labels off of bottles use OxyClean and warm water. Dunk your bottles under and let them soak for several hours to overnight. The labels should peel off. If there’s a little bit of adhesive residue left over then take one of those kitchen scrubbers to the outside. After that just rinse them out several times and bingo bango, free clean bottles

I have that somewhere! Thank you so much for that info!

I always feel bad for how long I leave my brews sitting around unfinished...good to have a reminder that I'm not the only one who just forgets about them for months at a time.

Good wine takes time, and with mead try a little acid blend to round out the mouth feel. Squeeze 1 lemon and add it to your racked bottle.
@GreenWitch12 жыл бұрын
Not sure the juice of an entire lemon is always called for 😳
@FaewoodMead2 жыл бұрын
An acid blend would have been nice for sure!

@@FaewoodMead I remember you once saying in video how much extra work it is to do your makeup, set up a camera, etc AND then make a mead. I really appreciate it Mandy. 🙂

I know I've mentioned it here before, but try Bentonite for clearing. I've used it on 3 brews so far and it's worked wonders. Makes degassing a pain depending on when you like to do that step but give it a shot. Keep up the good work!

Try biofine instead. The loss is minimal and what it pulls out is compacted. Plus it's animal friendly. Only bc some fining agents contain shellfish

I think I now have all of those things! :-p I will be testing them thank you!

Do you know how much black cardamon he used? I am making a metheglin and want to add some but am not sure if he used the entire pod or just the seeds.
@FaewoodMead Жыл бұрын
I know he crushed whole seed pods and added them... I'm unsure of how many...
