+dz ayoub I don't think Hip-Hop is dead my man... There are lots of young cats out there that are doing pure, raw Hip-Hop. The thing is that the new generation; even my generation (90s) don't do their Hip-Hop research and therefore most of them never heard of WU, KRS, Rakim... but they listen to Joey Badass, Kendrick Lamar, J-Cole and so on and that is Hip-Hop too, just not from the golden era. Hip-Hop is not dead, is just that the OGs are not as known as they should be to today's kids, mostly becuase of the industry. I started to appreciate the fact that there are very few of us young dudes out there who still bump those golden era skills and sounds and even today they're still doing their research and still find out mindblown facts, interviews, unreleased verses, unseen cyphers, different meanings and so on. Now I see Hip-Hop like a secret society, like KRS said in "2nd quarter free throws".
