There are not a lot of Palestinians in Michigan. The Arab population is mostly from Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, and you have some of course who are from Palestine by way of Jordan. But they should not be seen as representative of mainstream Palestinian-American opinion in the US. The Arab world is very divided on how to actually support Palestine. So Arab-Americans, many of whom have no relation to that land, should not be held to a higher standard than world leaders, who breathe fire about Israel to the public but do business with them in private.
