@@MoGruesomm terrified? Lol. Love! May I ask why?
@MoGruesomm2 жыл бұрын
@@madeoutofglue Sure :D I'm not certain I can explain in a way where it won't come across the wrong way though. I think duets sometimes just don't work out well and it's.. terrifying if you love the band because something just irreversibly changes then. I think duets are tricky and not for everyone. This one, however is spot on personally.

We just have to look at the cover art. To me, a blackened finger print with a dove of a magnifying glass. We would have to ask, ‘what can we see,’ in the purple. For me it is the pigments that seem to be showing up on my body of what I suspect is heavy wine drinking. Not wanting to be adulterating by the reading the lyrics, the purple can also be seen as a film negative or in our modern age a filter of that. Which leads me to this: that’s the cross-examination between Methyl Ethel and Stella Donnelly. This is no romantic comedy as can be seen in perhaps the numbers counted in the domestic illustration of a jail seen in the film clip. Rather it is a look at the inebriations of conscious between playing chess with someone you love; or do you love them? I’ve always thought of the game as lame, but it has brought people, and things might I say, fame. Although I realise the cover art, and this may be why Methyl Ethel call themselves, ‘Art Rock,’ is despite that negative of the photo - if you notice a black line still borders what also could be called a charcoal smudge, smeared with a little blood. Reminiscent, but not to give the same impression, the strings are of Radiohead’s Burn the Witch come to my head. But that begs the question of who can use such an instrument again or associate it again. Something to think about would you say? As I talked of having the lyrics stay a virgin to my hearing and interpretation - they change. What I remember though is the word, ‘numbers,’ from Stella. And now, ‘the snow is burning,’ from Jake. Just an introspection. But is it an intended or an unintended insight? I invite you to fill the gaps. The bass bounces around playfully, and I’m getting to how to this conglomerate of sound has produced a great piece, but the bass; it begs the question of if the bass clef is under-appreciated. A magpie sings at the indication that the day is starting and I wonder of that cover art? They like meat right? While not many people will get to see it in high resolution; it is true. ‘What do you see?’ For me it’s the encapsulation, in some shape or form, to be free. But maybe, as Jake saw, she incaptured me. We shouldn’t talk of it, but I do challenge the notion of tall poppies… that charming voice at the end - and if your a fan you will notice the contrast this song has given with both vocals together. Strange. They dance off harmonies as if they’re enjoying a breeze. And as we can see this is why we call it, ‘Art Rock,’ because this shit really, really isn’t about the money. This song, up for your interpretation, was an expression, that Jake and Stella did lovilly - and for your next one, I want bother to proof read.

So I might add, before I get good and kill anyone that try’s my method to become a fad, the intro, while I’m sitting on the fence - has an ecclesiastes appeal. Annnnnnd I’m sorry but let me take a look, yeh you know the drumming is spot on and good.
