If you dissolve about 1-2 grams of Vitamin-C powder into water prior to adding methylene blue (which *reduces* methylene blue into leuko-methelyne blue), wouldn't this solve the problem of needing NADPH on board to help reduce methylene blue?

The MB/C solution will turn clear as the chemical process completes. I have tried both ways and pure MB works better for me.

Good question and I just posted that question myself above. My understanding is MB is constantly being reduced and brought back to MB as it reacts with different ROS. I’d like to hear his thoughts on this too.

Your explanation of methylene blue's inhibiting impact on inducible, neuronal, and endothelial nitric oxide was excellent! I've been confused over how methelyne blue impacts nitric oxide, and you cleared that up quite nicely. If I'm understanding you correctly, at *normal* or *safe* dosing, it's basically a wash -- the slight neuronal and endothelial reduction of nitric oxide is *offset* by the mitochondria producing nitrite reductase enzyme. Is that correct?

Many have notice significant NO loss using from 5mg to 10mg. A loss of libido is what some men experience at these amounts.

@@johnhurd3257 I won't dispute what others may have experienced, but I've never personally experienced anything remotely like this myself, and I take about 15-20 mg of MB per day. My libido is perfectly fine.

I’m not a doctor but what the heck it cannot hurt and depending on the cancer MB is passed through the urinary tract and gets rid of bacteria in the bladder ie UTI so if the cancer is bacterial it may help.

Regarding G6PD. You mentioned potential anemia if you have the genetic defect. I currently take MB along with ascorbic acid to reduce it to Leuko MB. I never hear of anyone doing this. What are your thoughts and could you produce a segment on this at some point? Thank you!

I’m supplementing with reduced glutathione, NR,NAD+,NMN all hoping to alleviate the HMP Shunt… Is this even doing anything to help free up REDUCTIONS process freeing up reductive resources…?

I wonder if this will help with my elevated hematorcrit since it can cause anemia 🤔 I'm on TRT so I have to donate blood every 3 months to keep my hematocrit and hemoglobin in range. I don't mind donating blood since it can save lives etc., when I do donate, my ferritin tanks, so I feel like crap for a couple of weeks.

It didn't do anything to my liver enzyme levels after taking for over six months. No issues, but I take other supplements that are beneficial to my liver. Just have to learn to do your own research and try to stick with organic non GMO products. I bought a capsule machine and buy herbs in bulk and it helps to avoid all the unnecessary fillers that are in so many supplements. 🙏🕊️🙏

I've never considered putting drops directly in my mouth. I've always added it to water before taking it. I can't imagine anyone putting it directly from the dropper into the mouth. Seems strange to me.

I put it in Grapefruit Juice, hardly noticeable. If you leave it for a while it turns brown, I think from the Vit C.

MB gave me eye twitching - I read that is a side effect of unknown incidence and to call your doctor if it happens! My child has a facial tic from Singulair and it made that MUCH worse as well so we are off of it now. It's not quite as innocuous as people say.
