Sometimes I need to pinch myself to believe we have a music scientist like Mulatu from my homeland Ethiopia. MET, thank you for sharing this with us.

His music is a mode of transportation to an unknown destination. You might be headed to Addis.... you might be headed to a spy bar in Egypt.... who knows?

I'm really enjoying the first number, "The Dewel". It's brilliant, but there needs to be a little more mic on the trumpet. When it gets drowned out by the sax, that's too quiet!

I've rarely heard a trumpet played with such alternate fingerings, and with the slide to boot! 25:30

This feels like I'm listening to a new set of tunes. For whatever reason, we don't know, the sound guy decided to glorify the sax and hide the trumpet. Because of that, we're forced to listen to less trumpet and more of the sax harmony. Yekermo Sew sounds a completely different tune.

It's really a shame just how quiet the trumpet is in the mix
