Sutton Coldfield we have quite a bit of snow this morning. Met office app indicates rain now, other app Snow! Issue for us is that we are relatively high up in comparison to Birmingham, so maybe thats always the issue. Be safe everyone and stay warm especially those who are struggling.

Great forecasts these, but I can't be the only one who struggles with the colour scaling between cloud and snow... I guess it covers a multitude of model errors but it's not the clearest visual representation. Perhaps more grey for cloud and a brilliant white for snow?

Dear Met Office - please, please, please can you remove the white/grey graphic that you use to denote high cloud? It's pretty much the same colour that you superimpose snow graphics, making it really difficult to determine whether or not we are getting high cloud or snow. Especially (like me) if you live in Scotland, where we have a lot of the white stuff, and personally I find it really difficult to determine between the two weather conditions. I have seen Alex switch it off, on some of the Deep Dive videos, so I know it's a setting on your system that you can disable. Do we really need to know if we are going to get high cloud? Even if you switch it on/off during your bulletins. For me it is totally unnecessary, and confusing.

Where I’m at, it was supposed to snow all night, nothing, it stayed cold enough to keep the snow from yesterday, but nothing new, and I guarantee where I’m at in the yellow warning I’ll get nothing through out the day, because that’s how it is, and if it does it’ll be barely an inch.
