Thank you so, so much for this. I want you to know there are plenty of people out there who understand all of this. As a survivor myself, I can tell you that it is possible to find a love. Sometimes trauma will get in the way but there can be a person you trust like that - that trusts you enough not to overreact too. I know that my perception of my boyfriend's actions is often skewed, sometime I don't know what he wants from me by just asking to go upstairs. But there are people out there who are patient and willing to listen and people you can trust. I'm so glad you're on the road to self love. I think that is the most important thing. For me, I was in a toxic relationship and after I came out of it I was ready to live for myself and myself only. But I just stumbled upon love. Maybe you will too one day. Anyway, I want you to know that everything you're experiencing, the pain, the memory, the self doubt, the fear, all of that is a normal reaction to this stuff. I want you to be able to separate the what the abuser wants you to think from what you really believe. You are valid. You're allowed to trust yourself. You are just as brave as you were in the moment when you completed your biggest feat. Sometimes, bravery must be redirected and dealing with these things, powering through them makes you so strong. As soon as you feel yourself worthy and love yourself you automaticly start shining and attract the persons with GOOD INTENTIONS. Straight people have the exact same problem and some rather suffer from abuse than being alone. That is so sad and causes a lot of harm.⚘

Happy Birthday, Jonny! Coincidentally just last night I was thinking of all the KZbinrs whose videos I've watched over the years and the list came to about 30 which I thought was quite a lot. Of all of them, you're the one I discovered first, back in 2015 after seeing "Stranger on the Bridge", and you've always been my favourite. So honest, so real, so kind, so courageous. I also appreciate the lack of editing and enjoy the long pauses; they create the feeling of being there with you as you think out loud and figure things out. I've had quite a few similar conversations with myself. Some of the quick edits in some other YT videos can be jarring. Yours are the most valuable, most human videos on KZbin as far as I'm concerned. Congratulations on 10 years! Initially I wrote a paragraph about the problems I've had caring too much about certain numbers and avoiding others, but on reading it back it was too much about me and probably not much use to anyone else. So, instead, I'll say that no number is anything like as important as you are and that numbers are there as tools for humans to use. They shouldn't hold any kind of power over us. I really hope that you can let go of worries about numbers because they lead to bad places. I don't feel I can comment much about the main subject of your video as nothing like that has ever happened to me, other than to say that it sounds horrible and I'm sorry you had to experience that - an ugly corruption of what should be an expression of love, fun, comfortableness and trust into someone's deceitful quick-gratification power trip. He may well have issues of his own if he's married, but those would be no excuse for hurting you. I hope you don't think it's too strange that my comment barely mentions the main point of your video. Other commenters obviously are in a better position to help on this subject. I just wanted to wish you happy birthday and thank you for ten years of making these wonderful videos.

"I'm not blaming anyone". You're probably trying to convince yourself of that one as well. At least I know I am. And that's fine, whe're only human. And sometimes people are just dicks. Intimacy with another person is hard, especially when you're "woke" and understand life from this almost polar opposite perspective from everyone. It's also the hardest thing to achieve as people will always be unpredictable. And that's fine, really. It's what makes us human. As for love, the key is in the perception. I think love is like tomorrow, a mystical place that people don't seem to ever arrive at. Love is also an umbrella term, because often it is used to describe respect, care, intimacy. So to want love, is to want option "D. All of the above" and that we know already is pretty unachievable. Life long partnership is a mind grind for me as well. Maybe I'm meant to be single forever, maybe I just haven't arrived there. Maybe I don't even know what I'm looking for. Do you know? Happy birthday and congrats for completing 34 years so far. Dear Jonny, you have all the right to be angry and to feel pain from your bitter experiences. There's no need to negate those feelings or even blame yourself. I am glad to hear that you really try to love yourself, be friendly with yourself, try to protect yourself from critical situations, ackknowledge the hardships of your life as well as the good things and people. See how difficult things have been and can be for your, be patient with yourself, give yourself consolation and encouragement. You deserve it, simply for being a feeling and struggeling person. Love yourself as unconditionally and tenderly as God is loving you.

Thank you for making this video. Sadly, there are many sick people out there who hurt others because they are hurt. The world is very messed up. In my sexual past it was pretty ugly too. Hey, I know you are probably not going to read this, but there are things I'd like you to know (ignore the randomnes): I am sorry to hear that. And I am angry, so, so angry that it happened to you. I contemplated talking about my own experiences (first I was 6, then I was 15), but then I realized how stupid it would be. This comment was not meant to be about me, but about you. I just want you to know, that if you are repulsed by sexual things, never do anything just to please others. I suppose you are much stronger than I ever was, so you may not even think about it, but... Just saying. Until I found the person who I am now proud to call my partner, I was just so desperate... Please, go on. I believe in you. Also, the numbers you talked about before... I always had the same thing with colors. Everything has a color, a specific shade and hue. I love to know I am not alone, so... Thank you. I came across your videos quite accidentally, while searching for people who know what is the schizophrenia - or schizoactive disorder - like. (I also suffer from anxiety attacks and some other things, but, hey, whatever... Oh, damned, and here I said I won't talk about myself...) And I love it. I think you deserve so much more than what you've got. Never give up. There's so much good you will be able to share with us. Belive in yourself - just as you said. There are people believing in you. Be proud when you say you believe in yourself... I just wish I was as strong and awesome as you are! :) I also wanted to address that you are trying to help others. I got it. I thank you for that.
