After eyewitness reports of them being driven through Los Santos in a golden Enus limousine like rockstars, Germany-based Italian DJs and Afterlife Recordings bosses Tale Of Us are hitting the booth in my nightclub!
Rumor has it that they are bringing a lot of new music from their upcoming artist album Afterlight...

The more I listened to live sets/remixes by Tale of Us after GTA introduced them to me, the more I was able to appreciate the fact that they produced/mixed an hour's worth of ALL ORIGINAL music just for the game. A testiment for their dedication to music, neatly tucked away in a niche corner of a video game. Your description as this functionally being a debut album for them is the most appropriate way as to what this set really should mean for Tale of Us and their fans.
