Hey John, Thank you for your Metpy Monday videos. I always learn something new when watching. I am wondering if you continue to use pygrib when dealing with grib files, or if you alternate between pygrib and xarray? Is there any benefit in using one over the other? Or is it mostly personal preference? Thanks for your time and for the great content.

The reason cfgrib returns "unknown" for the apt file is because those GRIB messages are using local NCEP codes i.e. non-standard, non-wmo codes

I'm struggling with getting the actual lat\lon values exported (along with temp value). Thoughts on doing a video on how to get grib data into .CSV files etc?
