Drum'n'bass. Effectively stabilizing my mood since 2011, more than nearly anything I know. Having listened to all instances of this music, Metrik's latest album with its rock vibe is a glittering addition to the mosaic that is DnB. It only makes me wonder where this organic system will adapt and evolve to next.

@Michael_S_K Yes. Proper food, exercise, awarenes that we are more than just frail physical bodies, faith in more than this transitory world, DnB- and the balance is established. Beyond this, any synthetic substance, no matter how they label or advertise it, or how popular it is, is really just a hindrance to the focus we need. It stems from endorphins, dopamine, acetylcholin, serotonin and many others anyway. But it's also more than physiology. Love, dignity and respect cannot be properly described, let alone explained, by any physic or chemist- but we need them; and need to show and share them. It seems a bit strange that DnB is one of the things that ties it all together- the soul, the body, and the surroundings they move through each day. But at the same time it feels just like it should. I can only guess that's the nature of (this) music.
