The creation engine was not designed with ladders in mind. Makes sense since it's a really old engine. When a game is built from the ground up, they can include whatever they want to.

There are Gamebryo games with functional ladders, and bethesdas Creation Engine is built straight off of Gamebryo. The reason they don't use ladders is because it breaks the AI pathfinding they've been using for a decade without changing it to allow for ladders.

with the way they did the PSVR1 dirty I also would be upset with Sony. They are selling PC adapters for the PSVR2, I just hope they come out with a driver to allow foveated rendering to work on PC so that when they eventually move onto the next iteration it isn't left a paperweight like the last one.

dont worry, its going to be coming to meta quest AND PC VR too. if you dont know what those are - meta quests are STANDALONE VR headsets that are a console in their own right. PC VR is VR, but on personal computers. so just like psvr2 but instead on ps5, its on a pc. if you already have a ps5 - go right ahead and get the psvr2. if you dont, but have a gaming pc instead, buy a pc vr headset instead. (i recommend the valve index, its the best headset on the market, but its very expensive.) ACTUALLY, now thinking of it, the psvr2 ALSO works on computers now. look it up, type "psvr 2 on pc" into google. i hope you discover a wonderful world of VR that enthusiasts like me love dearly.

I don't think so, that should be GT7 or RE4R. There are visible limits here as it's clearly a game targeting Quest - in fact, this deep silver collaboration was announced by Zuck years ago in the same presentation where just moments later he also announced GTA SA. that now is cancelled

Yep, only thing holding back games from becoming the next half-life is budget. When you work for valve, money doesn't tend to be a huge issue. For other VR companies the budget wont be as great. after all, you just don't get the same sales as a flat screen title.

​@@princegroove I've never once gotten VR sickness, even in the more extreme games. It only affects a fraction of ppl, and most of them can avoid it by slowly acclimatising themselves to VR.
