For example, the Latin genre includes over 20 countries in Latin America with varying music styles. To call genres like Bachata and Salsa only Latin takes away from what differentiates them. It's like calling Country music and Reggaeton music 'Western'. Sure, we get that's the general area they're from but it's far too much of a generalization. I'm just saying there should be credit where it's due.
