Fun fact: I was looking at an M3A and it appears they still bear the old Metro North M logo, and the "Metro North Communter Railroad" signage on the trains. Looks they replated a lot of the trains cars some bear the old style though. LIRR simply just covered it over with a decal.

I was young and remember that structure which used to be the ticket and waiting room. I forget which year it caught fire. It took awhile before the structure was demolished. I’m 61 years old and remember the low level platforms existed 😅

The cars have pantographs and third rail shoes. There is an isolated section of track where the cars switch electrical pickup methods
