I live in HongKong and I really proud of 99% childrens here speaks fluent nepali and their second language english as well. But when i used to live in UK quite a few hand full of children speaks Nepali. But sad part here in HongKong is kids are so spoiled because of lack of parenthood and long working hour six days work. Or parents may not willing to spend spare more time with kids or perhaps life style. Very few kids are doing well in academy field rest are bearing extremely uncertain future which is worrisome. I am just curious to know how often kids speaks Nepali in US?

because of influence. from school to media and friends they go out with, everything is christians in usa. so they get influence into becoming christians. other things they forget is the khas bhasa nepali. yes even these people will forget their khas bhasa. and finally they will loose their roots. they will forget about nepal. this is the price to pay if you migrate out of nepal.
