When I first played Prime 2, in the second phase of the fight, the Emperor Ing somehow clipped out of the arena and I had to restart the fight. Fun times.

At the time Metroid Prime 2 Echoes was released, it had big competition in the form of Halo 2. While the former wasn't as broken in singleplayer, the latter definitely had the better multiplayer.

Maybe it's just the difference in the actual notes from MP1 to MP2, and while both are great, it seems like MP1's was more about the 'weight' of the notes, while MP2's feel more like 'precision' with shifting tones and hitting exactly the right notes.
