Man I can't believe I forgot all about this theme! The moment I recognized it again I was like, aww yeah! That's right, the metroid prime 3 theme was amazing. It was like pow, right into my heart. They should play this music when they announce a new metroid game on E3 sometime in the future. I'll try this on my keyboard but I don't think I have the right sounds....

You'll probably never read this, but sadly, i had never heard this theme before, scince I played ( and bought) th trillogy version. But you are absolutely right. It sounds awesome! One last question, are you dutch by any chance?

I remember they were stock FL Studio samples, nothing fancy, just treated with heavy reverb. One of the drums is a floor tom sample from the stock FPC drumkit in FL. The choir, strings, and timpani are from the Chorium soundfont (love that soundfont!). And there are some cymbals with a long attack for ambient effects, as well as a constant tambourine with automated pitch and panning. The "boom" effect is a kick drum with long reverb decay and the reverb pre-delay turned up a bit to give a wider sense of space.

"Metroid is full of epic music" i agree metroid's musics are the best of the history of the vidéo games (is it englsih ? i don't know) maybe zelda's songs are as good as metroid's but not better
