The Orange County Line is one of my favorite Metrolink lines. The southernmost portions in Central-Southern Orange County and Northern San Diego County are the absolute best as it feels and looks like commuter rail rolling through Hawaii, as the climate in Southern California is subtropical, in the case is Mediterranean climate (though not tropical, but with tropical influences). Man, we get great winters in SoCal, just like Hawaii, Florida, and Gulf Coast.

Enjoyed the video and as a common OC/IEOC Line spotter, this was gold✨ Though I do have some questions that I hope someone can answer: 1.) Will Metrolink ever have a proper paint scheme for all their stuff? (Cause seriously they have lots and with their newest design I hope they implement it soon on all of their equipment) 2.) Any idea or plans on their MP36s and if they’ll overhaul them? 3.) Any word on the last 3 remaining older engines? There are currently 2 F59PHs and a PHi that currently remain with an uncertain future. (Those being 866, 870, and 877. Not including 852, 856, 861, 868, and 873)
