illari, bap and kiri have way to high of mobility to damage to heal ratios. Which means if you can hit shots consistently then the role gets completely shattered into oblivion and becomes op. Not even taking into account their utility. If you have a support with high damage and heals they need to have very little mobility and vice versa if they have high heals and mobility their damage needs to be very little, etc.. Honesty following this idea would make supports way more balance without it needing to be complicated. (I am also a support player.)

The skill difference between you and the master players is like the difference between plats and bronze. You can actually hit your shots on a character that gets value(mostly) from hitting shots. You do this in a lobby that you can casually dominate in with almost any character. If it wasnt Illari, it would be someone else. Turret is low value at your rank and you have to place yourself in unfavorable positions to be within range to heal someone. Combine this with her damage output that wont get as much value as other supports, and you have yourself a niche support.

Healing is definatly not broken just all you dps heroes want a free ride up the ladder.Soldier is op as hell now after the hitbox buff and he has self healing i swear some of you content creators are so delusional its crazy. Blizzard had to make lifeweaver and illari the way they are to deal with how strong dps are atm. if blizzard didnt make support half decent noone would play them which is what is happening to the tank roll cause tanks cant survive after this hitbox buff and tank passive now noone wants to play them not even eemong. Its easy to kill people when you have a mercy pocket in your games.

More seriously. Although Metro is exaggerated in his point of supports being easy which certainly isn’t the case ubiquitously- like with Lucio who is more or less a specialist. I think he does have a point. Are support overpowered? It’s hard to tell what that means in a game where one role like the tank is objectively meant to be stronger than the others. However, are supports becoming the cause of more and more pain points in other roles with their ‘get out of jail free’ abilities? Definitely. Combine this with the fact that they kind of do what the DPS role does (with a few exceptions) but better due to their better survivability and mobility- and well it’s somewhat obvious that to a DPS player, supports are effectively just the better role.

In the current state of the game support is the easiest role to play in the game. Almost all characters have a high mobility and some even can cancel ult on a short cooldown with one click of a button xD. Supports were almost always the reason behind the game being broken xD. Blizzard please fix your game :D (wait, it will die again before they finally do something about it).

Im not sure what your comment has to do with the opinion. Maybe tell me why you think otherwise, and what role in the game is easiest in your opinion? Happy to hear that. Looking at the game only from the perspective of top play, where top players are a really small percentage of entire player base is not a healthy practice in any type of game design. Look at it from the perspective of all ranks and think about what require least amount of actions from the player across most of the ladder, not only from the top. At top 500 all roles require more and the order might be a little bit different. In general I would still consider support to be the easiest role to pick, play and have fun on. Some things still in this role should be adjusted. Also support breaking the state of the game is a well known thing starting basically from OW1. There is a reason why in last 12 month, from top 5 most picked characters, four of those are supports. If the role was not easiest to pick and play, as well as not fun, majority of people would not play support. And I don't even hate on supports. I enjoy playing it myself.

You saying that someone is stuck and blames it on being broken or their teammates, shows me the quality of this discussion. You can track cooldowns and counter on every role against every other role or character, and by far Tank is the most countered role in the game. I have not even said anything about being mad at it or stuck. I'm talking about the overall difficulty to play a role from all three available roles in the game. The game still needs adjustment and alot of people say it. From three available roles support is best to choose as its the easiest and most fun across most of the ladder "IN MY OPINION". You have three roles in the game. Which of those roles and why in your opinion is the easiest to pick and play? And you also dont need to be passive agressive to have a discussion.
