Is it time to take a step back an say we had way too high expectations for Edwin Diaz this year? Everyone was basing their expectations on a historically amazing season two years ago and practically paying lip service to the fact that he missed an entire year to a major injury last year. I’m still confident that he will end up with a solid season, but the collective we seemed to had way too high expectations based on one unbelievably incredible season.

@32:57 Acuna is the poster boy (along with guys like Tatis) for ultra-talented modern players who would rather look cool than hustle and play proper fundamentals. It infuriates me to watch players like him, even if a guy like that would be on my team (I remember fuming over Reyes not running out grounders). Brandon Nimmo is my favorite baseball player for a reason and it's because he's the antithesis of clowns like Acuna.
